Make the leap to LED's for your CFL wall packs
These bulbs are a great solution for RAB wall packs designed for 26, 32 and 42 watt CFL's. They produce a nice white light, work well in a horizontal orientation and don't depend on a ballast. I was concerned that lower lumen output would be noticeable when compared to 32 and 42 W units; I'm sure there is a difference in illumination level but it's not noticeable when installed in wall packs. The CFL output falls over time and the glass in the fixture gets buggy so any fresh bright white bulb shining thru clean glass looks great. Bypassing the ballast is not all that difficult and you only need to do it once.
