Yes, but make sure you use permanent black marker when writing So writing will stay clear . Turn down end on tape so that it will pull of eazy . Usually leaves no film

Will this stick toTupperware and plastic ziplock bags?

Yes, it will stick to Tupperware & Ziploc bags in my experience. However, you must make sure that whatever you are sticking it to is dry and pretty much room temperature when you apply it. After that, you can put it in the freezer and it stays.

What is the core dimension? I need 3 inch to fit existing dispensers.

Core dimension is 1 & 1/2 inches.

Will it stick to Waxed Paper (such as Cut-Rite or Reynolds)?

I just now tested it on cut rite wax paper. Yes it sticks to it. It also sticks to Reynolds Freezer Paper which is the reason I use the freezer tape.
