Hape Super Cityscape Transport Bucket Set | Wooden Toy Train Set with City Scenes, Plane, Battery-Powered Engine, for Children 3+ Years

This train set is a huge hit in our household. The kids love playing with it. There are a good amount of pieces for a whole set, or you can always add on with other train sets and pieces. We started with this set and have since expanded with more from Hape and some other well known brands as well since they’re all compatible. The pieces are durable and have lasted through a lot of play time.

What every boy would want to play with. Future engineers...

Kids love it. It’s easy to snap pieces in place. It’s not too big or small just right for floor room

This was truly much better than I expected!! I gave this to my three year old for Christmas and he has played with it every day since. It’s easy to build and super easy to take apart and store. It’s great quality. I love that it includes trains, an airplane, and trucks. The motorized train works surprisingly well. I sometimes feel like lately everything I order from Amazon has been cheap and disappointing, but this one knocked it out of the park!

My grandson was so happy to receive this for his 4th birthday. He needed some help put it together, then played with it for hours. He loves the battery operated engine.

We bought this for our 4 year old grandson. It’s very well made. In the words of my daughter-in-law, our grandson is “obsessed” with it!

I gave this to my nephew for his 3rd birthday and he loved it. It is big enough for multiple kids to share and play with at the same time. Some of the pieces were too small to have out for his little brothers (18mo) so those had to be kept away. But otherwise, awesome toy that has already provided hours of play. Bonus, he loved the video that is posted on this Amazon listing giving him ideas on how to play with this new toy. He watched approximately 50 times.

This is a very practical starter set for wooden track trains, and my 4yo pulls it out more often than I would have anticipated, but there are a few reasons I might not pick it again: The storage box that becomes a part of the finished track seemed nice at first, but the options for building without those parts are very limited, and with the box, there is exactly one available configuration. Part of the fun is building/connecting my kid's imaginary design, and this required many, many (approx 4x) more track pieces (bought separately). Also, the charm here is the wooden track, and the reality is more than half of this set is plastic. My kid doesn't seem to notice, but I sit there wondering why this or that piece couldn't have been wood. All in all, We have fun with this set, but I wonder if we would have equal or greater fun with only the pieces we have bought to augment it.

Really good quality toy
