Although i do not like the buttons out of fear of them breaking possibly easy, this is a very well made and quality imperial uniform. The rank patch is a velcro patch but i will be removing the stitching to use a better rank accessory for the uniform. It doesnt shine bright in the sun like a disco ball thanks to the fact its not polyester, and you can feel the strudiness of the fabric used. The gloves it comes with are great quality and even have felt inside to keep your hands warm. I would recommend getting a size up like me, it makes the uniform feel like a proper fit. The belt is also great sporting a metal buckle and not some cheap plastic or metal like material. Sad it didnt come with a hat but hey, it comes with plenty of accessories already between the gloves, belt holster and cape (which is a tad bit long). Overall i have to say i was surprised by the quality and overall craftsmanship of this costume and would highly recommend this as a budget friendly alternative for highly over priced custom made imperial uniforms that independent shops sell. Would buy again especially if they had other uniform variations like imperial naval or army uniforms. I hope this helps with your decision whether to buy.

It is a very very nice cosplay for rhe price fir a little snug I went ip one size and it fit. It looks absolutely amazing. Perfect for cons or social media fun. Buckle is metal and rhe belt is also good quality. The snaps work really well as well as light weight enough to be comfortable.

OK folks, look at this this way, you get what you pay for. If you are looking to join the 501st this isn't the costume for you. BUT, for a way above average Halloween or Comicon costume this may fit the bill. Let's go through the various components- Jacket: Well tailored and fits like a glove, and I was glad to see that it has a nice lining as well. Cape: Well made (like the design a LOT) and it is the perfect length that will not drag on the floor Pants: Well, Director Krenic's were black Jodhpurs, not Oompa Loompa's. The sharp point(s) on the side flares just look ridiculous and should be way more rounded. However, the fit was great at the waist. Length is negligible as they will be tucked in boots. Belt: Decent quality PLU with a metal buckle. Rank insignia: For this price don't expect to have a metal one. It is an embroidered patch that attaches with Velcro. I removed the Velcro part that holds it on and replaced the entire thing with something more authentic. Holster: PLU PROS: A really decent costume. CONS: The plastic snaps that hold all the components (cape, jacket/ lapel) together will need to be replaced with metal ones. Most fell off or came loose during the first time trying it on. The costume is now in the hands of a local tailor who is replacing those (it's not inexpensive). Last words: Overall a good bargain and I am pleased with the costume, but I would rather pay an extra $10.00 or more to cover the cost of using METAL snaps that are properly sewn in rather than having to pay someone to do it locally.

Perfectly serviceable costume for parties or conventions. For ~100 dollars, you get a good amount of pieces including pants, shirt, belt, holster, and cape. Major issues with the costume is the quality of the shirt and cape. The fabric material is sturdy, but is all held together by extremely flimsy plastic buttons. Several plastic buttons were either damaged or missing when I received the costume, requiring some repairs with a sewing kit. This is problematic, as the shirt is double layered and requires some finesse to make the threads not obvious on the repaired buttons. In practice, wearing the costume again falls to managing the flimsiness of the buttons (they can easily rip off if you aren’t careful). Detaching the buttons is also difficult once they are stuck together. The length of the cape can be problematic in crowded spaces. Pants are also quite long, but clearly intended to be stuffed into boots, which are not included. Overall, this is a “you get what you paid for” situation. If you have the wherewithal to modify the costume with better buttons or a different rank badge, you might as well shell out the extra money for a more quality costume. Otherwise, this costume is fine for wearing a few times as long as you are willing to bust out some needle and thread when the buttons inevitably fail you.

I thought the overall quality was great, heavy fabric, and seams seem to hold up. One snap fell off but it's an easy fix. FWIW the fabric is rather heavyweight, its not cheap costume material, but if you get hot easily you may sweat in this thing. Overall, it is surprisingly well made.
