These are perfect for my intended use: premeasured oatmeal servings for a planned backpacking trip. They each easily hold one cup of dry oatmeal mixed with two cups of boiling water. The maximum capacity exceeds 4 cups. They are very well made and strong.

I use these bags to keep my home-roasted coffee, while it does a good job in protecting the beans from the light but it can't hold 16 oz of roasted beans.

Bought these to test out and so far they have held up. Tested them using dried beans and rice. The zip lock is sturdy and it sealed easily using a simple flat iron.

These are great! Sturdy, smooth and they look great. Bought to replace clear zip storage bags from the grocery store, mostly to store food, small personal care & computing items.

We used these bags for freeze dried food. After filling the bag, we added oxygen absorbers and then heat seal the end. The standard mylar bags will vacuum seal further, but these did not. They actually let air back into the bag. We also used the zipper seal prior to heat sealing. We will look for other bags that are the same size

I use these to make dehydrated, ready to eat, camping meals. They hold up well when you add boiling water and keep food fresh.
