Gift for the WOW nerds
Me and my fiancé have played world of Warcraft for years now. I thought this was cute and he really enjoyed it!

It BIT me!
Generally disappointed. Here's why:The set only has 138 pieces (if I remember correctly) -- a pretty low number, considering the complexity of the models. Why?The best part of the build, the awesome saber-toothed war-cat, consisted of 7 pieces. I'd call it "some assembly required" rather than "a building toy." Could've assembled, broken down, reassembled, broken down and reassembled again in under a minute. <sigh>While putting together the orc rocket thingy, my hands slipped and I cut myself on one of the bricks. Seriously? I've been playing with Legos for... let's see... 33 years now and NEVER have I ever encountered the slightest wound. Based on the bayonet-like edges and corners of the blocks, I'd definitely say these aren't toys for children. I spent 10 minutes wiping blood off the bricks, the table, the instructions... Next time I'll know to wear these: NoCry Cut Resistant Gloves - High Performance Level 5 Protection. And then there's the level of quality control. Already mentioned the sharp edges -- so here's the reason my hand slipped: I was trying to attach a series of 1x1 pieces to a larger piece. One of the 1x1s wasn't square, so wouldn't *quite* fit into its place in the row. I fixed it with a metal file (another thing I've NEVER had to do in 33 years of Lego play). If I intended to use these blocks regularly, I'd either buy a rock tumbler and throw them all in with a handful of grit for an hour or so, or take my metal file to every single deadly corner to prevent future bloodshed. The finished warcat looks freaking awesome. The finished rocket looks pretty stupid -- especially the spikes affixed to the backs of the chairs so you can stab your mini-figs in place. Not even the streaks of dried blood spice it up. The mini-figs themselves are highly detailed and very cool. The orc's staff was (inevitably) bent... <sigh>I would absolutely recommend this set for WoW fans who're going to build once and display forever. I would STRONGLY not recommend this set for kids, people interested in building, or anyone who expects more from this set than an awesome warcat and two cool mini-figs.

No problem for an 8 year old
I bought this for my 8 year old great-son's visit because there is not much to do at my house. In fact I bought 3 different Megabloks for his visit. This was the first one he put together. With no help from me he put this together himself and was finished with it within an hour. I suspect this one was real challenging for him. His only complaint was that there was 2 pieces missing--but it did not stop him from being able to put it together. I have no idea which parts he was missing--could have lost them without realizing it. I gave him some baggies so he could keep the different set of parts from getting mixed together and this seemed to help him a lot. All my grandsons and great-grandsons love these type of games so I would buy more for their visits.

Pretty Cool
I bought this for my fiance for Christmas. It only took him about five minutes to put together, which was kind of disappointing because that's half the fun. But it did turn out pretty cool, and we've got them on a shelf in our living room.

For my kids at Christmas
My son likes it and hasnt put it (or the other Mega Blocks) down since building it. I did have to help put it together, but it wasnt too hard once you actually look at and follow the picture directions. MY kids all play Warcraft and love the game so if your kids like Warcraft, legos or both, this is an easy choice!

Great for collectors.
I bought this for a friend. He loves the franchise and the game and loved this as a good Collectors piece. The figures are done nicely and nicely poseable. Very cute.

Small but totally cool for WoW fans!
I had my doubts about Megablocks but was surprised how cool these are!! The item is small, but the details are awesome and worth it! Must have for any World of Warcraft fan!

Larger than expected
My six year old nephew loved this. I had no idea who the characters were but he did. He put the pieces together all by himself and they were much larger than expected.

This toy provides a great little challenge for any World of Warcraft fan
This toy provides a great little challenge for any World of Warcraft fan! First they have to build the rocket and the Orc and Night Elf characters, before being able to act out the Horde vs Alliance battles using the flags! It comes with a Nightsabre mount as well. It is a shame the final products arent a little bigger though, particularly given the size of the box it comes in!Adults - be prepared to help with building if you buy this for slightly younger children. Although this is manufactured by MegaBlocks (typically associated with large bricks) the bricks for this are small and there are lots of parts to choke on!

Super zum Spielen oder zum Sammeln.
Da ich nun endlich alle erhältlichen Sets der Reihe "World of Warcraft" Megabloks habe.
