Great gift for kids

My son loved it! It was very easy for him to use, and was very easy to get the photos off the sd card. I definitely recommend.

Easy to install

This little camera looks very sturdy, easy to take pictures. Switching from video to photos is easy. It came with a lot of parts, beautiful camera for birthday gift. My girl haven’t put it down since I gave it to her… Update: - This kids camera is worthy of praise. It has been used for a few months and it works well. - The camera and waterproof case is sturdy, our girl accidentally dropped it, and it still works very well. - The waterproof case has a good waterproof effect. I have done an experiment and put it in the sink, and everything works normally in the water. The camera inside is still dry after opening the waterproof case. - l tried to use its mounting bicycle accessories, it is easy to install on the bicycle, and will not fall off. I also tried to install it on the helmet. This is a bit more complicated. Be careful that the rope should be tightened, otherwise it will loosen. This camera is really suitable for outdoor activities. When our family goes hiking/walking in the park, she always brings her small camera. I plan to buy another one as a Christmas gift for our niece.

I was super skeptical. I figured for the price it was worth a shot. It's for a 8 year old daughter who is always wanting to take pictures and videos while out and about and at the pool or beach. I have to say after her playing with it all day recording videos I set it up to record in 1080p and uploaded to my computer and its actually a great quality video and picture taking camera its definitely not 1080p more like 480p! The SD card it comes with has a ton of space on it and she loves it that's all that matters. Definitely worth the money for a kid. Only thing I will say is that they should have used a wide lense camera eye vs the close shot one. You have to be a good deal away from whatever you're trying to take a video of to get the shot because it's set on like 3x zoom and there's no way to adjust zoom.

Updated Review: We originally purchased two of these kids’ waterproof cameras as Christmas gifts to use on a spring break trip. After using them, our experience ended up being mixed. One of the cameras worked well throughout the entire trip and is still functioning. My child was able to use it the whole time, captured some great photos, and really enjoyed the experience. The waterproof case also performed as expected and kept the camera dry, even while snorkeling. Unfortunately, the second camera stopped working properly after just two days. The top two buttons (used for taking pictures and recording video) became unresponsive, making the camera unusable. This was frustrating and disappointing, especially during a trip where it was meant to be used daily. In terms of performance, when the cameras did work, they took decent photos and videos in good lighting. However, like many budget-friendly cameras, they struggled in lower light conditions. I do want to note that the company’s customer service was excellent. Even though we were outside the return window, they went above and beyond to make things right by offering either a replacement or a refund. We ultimately chose the refund for the defective camera, which we appreciated. Overall: This product has a fun concept and can work well, but quality seems inconsistent. One camera worked great, while the other failed quickly. The strong customer service helps balance the experience, but durability may be a concern.

Updated Review: Great customer service by Drograce! They replied very quickly to my post and pointed out a secondary battery specific on/off switch that I had missed as well as offering further service if necessary to remedy the problem if the switch was not the issue. Apparently there is a very small master battery On/Off switch on the right side of the camera right below the USB port which I didn't realize was actually a switch even though I saw the On/Off label on the USB port cover. Make sure that this switch is turned to on otherwise the camera will only turn on when plugged in. It is somewhat confusing having 2 power buttons but I can see this master switch being useful for parents who want to prevent the camera from being used during certain moments or to prevent accidental powering on in a bag I guess. As for the camera quality, it is definitely not going to win any photography awards but for young children this is perfect because it has much better quality video and pictures than the more well known competitor brand here on amazon. Definitely going to make a great Christmas gift!! Original Review: Just received this in the mail. Ordered as a Christmas gift for someone and wanted to make sure it was working correctly before I gifted it. It had no charge when it arrived so I plugged it in and the blue light turned on showing it was charging. Checked back on it about 20 minutes later and the blue light had gone out which I thought was strange since it had no charge beforehand. Turned it on while still plugged in and the battery meter said full charge so I unplugged it and it shut off immediately. Will not turn on unless it is plugged in so obviously the battery is worthless. Other than that seems like a good product and I really want to like it, but obviously without a working battery it is non-functional. I tried to look for a way to contact DROGRACE hoping this is just a lemon but can't find any way to contact them directly.

Very disappointed with this camera. The box arrived sealed in clear plastic, but once opened, the product inside appeared to be previously used. The biggest issue was the power button — it barely worked. After countless attempts, we were only able to turn the camera on a few times. Even after fully charging it as instructed, the battery died extremely quickly. To make matters worse, once the camera shut off, plugging it into a power source caused it to automatically turn back on, and then it could not be turned off again unless unplugged. Overall, this seems like a defective product with serious quality control issues. Would not purchase again.

Volume on video recording does not work despite looking at the settings and adjusting the volume to high. The picture quality is horrible. The neck strap that came with it, one end is coming loose because it was not sewn properly. Wouldn’t take much for it to come apart. The camera itself feels cheaply made. Returning this.

My cousin loves it and loves that she can take video and photos under water

First one of the top buttons stopped working, but it could still be used with the buttons below the screen. Then, a month after it was opened as a Christmas present the charging port broke and fell inside the camera. Pretty disappointing.
