This pot is my new favorite. The picture on the left shows just how perfect it is for Sous Vide operation the 8 quart size makes it perfect for one bag operation, and the height is perfect for immersing the entire bag under the water. The bottom of the pot is extra thick and this helps in keeping the water at a constant temperature. The 8 quart size also is smaller than a large plastic tub and this saves water, and decreases the time needed for heating the water. The picture on the right shows the pot sitting on my range top, it sits just perfectly on the large burner and heats quickly with even temperature. I have made split pea soup that was excellent and with the even distribution of temperature the soup was done quickly with a minimum of sturig. The overall quality of the pot is excellent, however it requires extra care when first using it. The directions are included and are very easy to follow, They have also included a couple of cleaning packets that I haven't used yet because I clean the pot quickly after I have used it. The lid fits securely and is heavy and perfectly matches the pot . When you use the pot use a lower temperature than usual due to the excellent heat distribution, and remember to use a small amount of oil when searing meats. Overall this is a great pot for the money and should last years in my kitchen, my kids have told me I need to get two more so they can steal them for their own kitchens, I told then to buy it themselves it is not that expensive.

Durable and good quality pot for making mashed potatoes, pasta, etc. I've gotten rid of anything coated with nonstick material that contains PFAs since it's bad for health. This has been a great alternative. It's heavy duty for sure. Feels like great quality. I've had this for over a year now, and it's held up nicely. It's a thick metal material and I would say good value for what I spent. It's pretty big.

Love this pot so much! Gives peace of mind with the high quality construction and haven't had any issues so far. Great if you have a nickel allergy.

I'm so glad I bought this kettle. It has a heavy heft to it, not flimsy like some. I like the bottom which is triple clad, and won't cause food to stick or burn on the bottom. I also like that it's tall, and sits squarely on my stove burner not lopping over the side. The heat is concentrated just where it's supposed to. Finally and probably most important, it's nickel free, so it won't get toxins into your food that's been cooking a long time on stove top. I would buy this again, or for gifts.

A beautiful pot that was worth the price. It was a bit complicated to season, but once done, I was glad I did. I bought it in 2022, and haven't had to season it since. At first I just rinsed it without soap per the instructions, but then I started using soap. Food still doesn't stick to it. I just use a sponge and soapy water to get rid of any grease. Only drawback for me is the weight. It's quite heavy compared to a nonstick pot. But I'm a 72 year old woman who doesn't have much arm strength anymore. I love knowing that it won't leach harmful chemicals, even if scratched.

Ordered this once before and it came without a lid - so I sent it back. Customer service was extraordinary - so much so that I waited 4 months to buy it (it was out of stock). I'm really glad I waited. The product is heavy - well made, and cooks great. I needed a 3.5 qrt to replace an existing pot - one I had for ten years. I actually think this one will last as long, if not longer. Like most things - it depends on how you take care of it. It cooks very well (I use it for rice and other veggie type stuff), evenly, and it cleans well. I would HIGHLY recommend this product, and this company, to everyone. December 29, 2018 - Been a while now and the pot is just like new. I use it almost weekly to make rice, and it does the job perfectly every time. Cleans up well. No issues. Still highly recommend this pot.

I received my 3 1/2 quart Homi Pot yesterday and it is lovely. It is a heavy pot and it is really attractive. I was interested in the height of the pot. It turns out to be 5 inches tall if you just measure the height of the pot and not include the cover with the handle. I bought it to steam vegetables in mostly. I cook soup in a really big pot so I have plenty of soup. I am tempted to purchase their big pot too. It is just so attractive. Also, this AM I got an email from this company giving me some extra hints about keeping my pot looking attractive. I thought that was a great personal touch. They suggested washing it the first time with lemon juice or white vinegar. I am a little confused about that. I had already used the pot and I am not sure why I would do that and if the vinegar should be diluted. The pot also included a measuring cup, a measuring spoon with tsp and Tablespoon and a cleaner to keep the pot looking shiny. It was suggested to treat the pot carefully, almost like a coated teflon pan, using wooden spoons and no scouring pans, things like that. Anyway, I am very happy with my new shiny stock pot.

I have to start of by saying that the customer service from Homichef was honestly the best customer service I've probably ever received. You have a 30 day trial to use this pot and can return it for any reason if you aren't satisfied. With that alone, I would recommend it. If you don't like it, you can assuredly return it hassle free - just notice that the 1 star reviews were responded to by the seller, and they offered to refund it. I honestly can't say enough about how pleased I was with how they dealt with the issue I had with my 1st pot (see next paragraph). That being said, I also had an issue with my pot getting discolored the 1st time I used it. I followed the cleaning directions and the cooking directions to the letter, and my pot still discolored. I contacted customer service and they were very helpful. I will caution you though - it would take 24 hours usually for the seller to respond. If I emailed them in the morning, I would get a response the next morning (I'm not sure why, maybe international time zone issues? Either way, they would respond the next day, so do realize that reaching out to them may take some time). They offered me steps to get rid of the markings - which did not work - and immediately sent me a new pot. I was beyond impressed. As far as where I'm at now, I do use this pot all the time. I'm not sure why my 1st pot got markings on it, but I'm using my new pot often. It's very lightweight, and I'm so happy to have found a nickle-free stainless steel pot. Just read the "most helpful review" to get an explanation of why nickle-free might be safer. I am trying as hard as I can to reduce toxic exposures to our home, and I'm thrilled to have a pot to use that doesn't have nickle. I love these Homichef pots, and for anyone interested in non-toxic pots, I also recommend looking into glass Corning cookware as well, if you are looking for non-toxic pots. I also love Lodge enameled cast iron - completely non-reactive. But any cast iron is extremely heavy, a drawback for me. And glass also has some limitations, too. Stainless steel, for me, is the most versatile. I plan to purchase the Homichef large stock pot next for soups. All in all, I do recommend - especially since you can easily return if you are not satisfied.

I bought the 3.2L pot and it's fantastic. The quality is excellent, it's dishwasher safe and the size is perfect for a small kitchen. I love the metal lid because there's no space for water or dirt to accumulate like with glass lids. The customer service is beyond amazing. I had a small issue, but it was handled very quickly. Special thanks to Lawrence for the prompt replies and for resolving my problem so efficiently. Buy this pot - you won't regret it!

This stock pot is very well made and a good size for soups, stocks, pasta, etc. The handles are secure, the lid fits well and cleaning is very easy. Overall it does what it's meant to do and works very reliably for everyday cooking. The only slight drawback is that it's a little bit on the heaviest side but generally I would absolutely recommend this product because of its feels good quality.
