The bottle says not to mix this alongside other additives, so most of the time I only add this to my paints for use with an airbrush and it can both thin the mediums while preventing them from drying as fast. In particular, it helps me prevent dry tip buildup while using primer. I’ve used this with dollar craft paint, dedicated airbrush paint, acrylic ink, and water based primers.

Good product to increase acrylic drying time
I was doing color mixing with acrylic paint and was frustrated with how fast it dried up, like less than 15 minutes. This item is a life saver, I put just a couple of drops and the drying time was extended to a hour and a half.

I am not a professional artist but..
I don't know what people actually use this for, but I was told mixing this with acrylic paint helps it stay on fabric, so I didnt exactly that! I painted my halloween costume and mixed my paint with this and it turned out wonderfully! It didn't crack and fall off, it didn't streak, and it didn't come off in the rain. So if you're looking for a little costume help, it really helped me. I haven't washed the clothing in a washing machine (I have no reason to because it's just a costume) so i can't attest to whether or not it washes well.
