Great for The Smaller Kitchens and/or Smaller Families
Due to the design of my kitchen and the fact it has a soil pipe going along one wall, it soon became obvious that fitting in a full size Dishwasher was an impossibility. After doing a bit of research I decided to order the Russell Hobbs 6 Place Settings. I knew from the beginning I was going to get it fitted into a cupboard and plumbed in, so the colour made no difference to me. I ordered the Silver one as it was cheaper. It arrived promptly and sat for a couple of weeks in the box waiting to be fitted. After reading the instructions, please do as you need to set the hardness of the water for your area ( I live in a really hard water area), you also need to set the rinse aid at the correct number - now here is my only criticism, the numbers are inside not outside of the rinse aid cap - come of RH lets keep it simple put the numbers where they can be seen when putting the cap back on!! Now for the actual working of the Dishwasher - it is really quiet, the only time I really hear it is when it bleeps to let me know it is finished. There are various programmes and the booklet breaks down each programme so that you pick the best one I have photocopied and laminated mine and placed on top of the dishwasher for easy reference. There is also a time delay - I set mine for when the Westerly facing solar panels start working so I am not paying for electric from the grid. You can easily pause and change the programme if you have got it wrong and it is early enough into the programme, The dishwasher will turn itself off after a certain amount of time has passed once ended. Cleaning the filters are easy as is topping up the salt and rinse aid. In the beginning, you need to be patient and get the dishwasher to work exactly how you want for example on my first wash it did not dry the dishes completely-refer to the Troubleshooting page, and there is the answer, second wash worked a treat. RH even show you the best way to load your dishwasher, I love this dishwasher and it certainly makes a difference. Would I recommend - YES, as long as you manage your expectations about how much will fit in it at any one time this little number is a diamond

Excellent Unit
This is a great device that cleand and dries well. Its small. but suitable for my daughter who live alone. I have marked 4 star for VFM as you can but a larger slimline unit for pretty much the same price. Of course If she had the space we would have done that so happy to pay the price. There are cheaper units available but mostly chinese imports. This was well packaged, and a breeze to install. I had a power socket and a water connection available. Including moving a shelf in a cupboard it was running in 20 mins. needs a 60cm wide cupboard which gives a 5mm clearence either side. I needed to remove the back of the cupboard which may be the case for all. Lots of programs to choose from but like most people we settled on the 1.5 hour one and thats likely where it will stay.

Good size. Looks fancy. Does the job
This product does what it was purchased for, has multiple settings so functionality is worth 5 stars. It is a little pricey considering you can get a larger built in dishwasher for the same price. Though if space is an issue it’s good purchase and looks high quality in the black. The only issue is does not come with adaptors to fit onto cold water feed if you’ve more than one application.

Great for tight spaces
The Russell Hobbs countertop dishwasher has been a great addition to my small kitchen. It fits easily on the counter, runs fairly quietly, and cleans dishes surprisingly well for its size. Perfect for one or two people. It doesn’t handle large pots or big plates very well, but for everyday dishes it’s a huge time-saver.

So far I hate it.
I do not have room for a full sized dishwasher, but I can (just about) shoehorn a half sized one like this under the kitchen sink in my flat. This fitted, tightly, like the one it replaced (different make, 11 years old.) Not that I care, but it is not ugly - I did not buy it to look at and/or admire. It is a little louder than its predecessor, but I tend to load my dishwasher up in the evening, go to bed, and turn it on the following morning just before going to work. Noise is not really a consideration. It is quiet enough not to bother my neighbours. As with all dishwashers the only way to actually achieved the claimed capacity of 13 angry men, 3 amigos, a Snow White and 7 dwarves, 101 Dalmatians, 39 steps etc is to own the exact same film or book used by the manufacture, in the same format. which no one ever does. Mine is currently running the ‘before first use’ wash. If I can get 4 of my dinner plates, 4 knives, 4 forks, BUT BUT NOW. I hate it. It can not get a single item to actually stand upright in the washing basket. Glasses fall over, plates do not fit In any direction. Dinner, side, salad, tiny saucers, nothing stays upright, Totally useless. Unfit for purpose. You have to own the exact set of plates and dishes they owned to get them to fit. The washing arm hits the lid for the salt container, and jams. Every time. Clack clack clack, as it hits the lid as it rotates… then an after 10 to 15 minutes of a 3 and a half hour wash cycle no more ‘whoosh whoosh’ as the arm rotates, and no ‘clack clack’ as it hits the lid on thy was past. It has jammed. On the lid of the salt pot. As usual. I currently have a glass coaster, normally put under a glass to prevent water-marks on furniture, in it, on the floor/base. The arm hits the coaster and bounces up a bit. It can then pass over the lid of the salt/water softener lid. They should have designed this in. It was such an easy fix. So this weekend I will cast a small acrylic part, shaped like a door stop, and glue it in place. It will direct the arm over the lid of the salt container.

great addition to our small kitchen
finally no nagging from my miss :) if you load it correctly so the cutlery rack isn't blocking the tablet dispenser (it opens to the inside while washing at some point) there shouldn't be any residue left behind, the dishwasher fits quite a lot dishes inside so both me and my misses are happy with the purchase. the photo is of one of our average washings, if you have plates only you can fit quite a lot of them inside to be fair. oh and I suggest to use dishwasher salt and rinse aid as an addition to the tablets/tabs as whatever tabs you might be using they'll never have an expected cleaning power alone if fully loaded
