No ankle pressure
I sleep with socks. And although I'm not in a cast, I find these to be comfortable socks for sleeping in as well as during the day. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is the cost. They are much too expensive. I've bought many packages of them but the top portion does begin to unravel somewhat after a number of washings, even in cold on gentle. I tried letting them air dry but that took an incredibly long time, as they stay very wet unlike most socks. I haven't found an equally comfortable sock yet but I haven't purchased as many as I would based on cost alone.

They do not bind my husband's legs
These socks are perfect for my husband. He is quite tall and usually has to cut the elastic on the top of his socks. These are comfortable and do not leave Mark's. Good fit for his size 14 foot!

MADE IN CHINA FOR MAX 13-14 SHOE SIZE
Made in China. Probably max shoe size is size 13, otherwise the heel will not be placed right, and these very expensive made in China socks will wear out. They are comfortable and do slip on well, and the knitted top is also perfect and stretchy. In many respects similar to the Haines brand sold at target that only fits normal feet in the max 10-11 range that that have a less stretchy knitted section. When new, laid out, unstretched the heel to toe is 8.5 Inches which only just fits a 13.5 US shoe size. Euro 48? or so.
