i use this to water my 100’ by 200’ backyard. i use a 6hp pump to supply the water from the water source. this combination covers half the yard at one time with plenty of water.

Junk, they won't last a week on a farm application. We thought it would be a good deal being less than a 1/4 of the cost. Its not meant for a real farm application.

Awesome! I have it hooked up to a high pressure 2" pump pulling from a small pond, on a 100' pipe and probably 20' of elevation (up a small incline from the pond and it's mounted at the end of a 10' stick of PVC) it will water a circle 160+ feet in diameter. Currently using it to establish some grass in a new vineyard, will be using it for lots of other new growth on my small farm in the future!

Needs a very strong Pressure to work correctly, low water pressure or volume, it gets stuck drilling wholes in the lawn. but when strong pressure it coveres a large area quick

I had my doubts but this sprinkler head was the only one I could get in time for my irrigation run. I got the cheapest lay-flat discharge hose I could find that had the camlock ends on it and I was very impressed. Running on essentially level ground with a 100 foot hose I got about 90 foot radius. With 300 feet of hose and the same pump, with a 3 or 4 foot drop it sprays about 60 feet but the volume is great.

Large sprinklers are EXPENSIVE. As I'm sure you know. This is a really economical way to throw a lot of water, far, and quick. I made a PVC stand to water a food plot, hooked up a 2" trash pump outta the lake, and we were cooking with oil throwing water 50' or more. Super happy with this purchase, it's held up.
