Effects on digestive system and tasty to take

TLDR: This is great. Don't get me wrong. But I think there are better things in the market --- Why take gut microbiota. There is ample research on how having a good microbiome helps in lots of things including thinking well, keeping good immunity, and of course better digestion. If you can't afford these regularly, take yoghurt/curd. These are extremely good as they maintain healthy digestion. The main microbe in curd is lactobacillus. One of the forms of lactobacillus is Lactobacillus Rhamnosus and this is what is different in this one. Why Take Cipla: Cipla one has good mount of microbiome, It comes in sachet to be mixed with water unlike others which come in tablet form Why not take cipla 1) It comes in sachet so the chance of getting till the large intestine is low 2) It comes with much lower quantity than some other brands 3) It comes with only 1 type of microbes. Who knows whether this is sufficient What else to consider: One may consider Yogut from Intas and VSL3 from sun pharma. If stored by your pharmacist in cool conditions (say a fridge), VSL3 is most highly recommended, but is also costly. a 10 tablet pack costs Rs 300-350. But if you are considering long term usage, it is extremely effective. Specifically it says 112.5 bio CFU or about 20 times the number of spores as this one. (note that there is no such thing as overdosing on microbes! more the merrier, they are all there to help.). VSL3 also various strains like Lactobacilli (L. casei, L. plantarum, L. acidophilus, and L. delbrueckii), Bifidobacteria (B. longum, B. breve, and B. infantis), and Streptococcus (S. salivarius). The only disadvantage of the others is that they come in tablets and children can't use them easily. In such cases, maybe we can just open the tablet, pour it into small glass of water and have it as we would have this one. Why buy this: Rhamnosus has been proven to be effective for a variety of uses. There's a good deal of research behind this strain. Maybe it helps additional to other strains found in other microbiome tablets. Use this to supplement other things you take (like Yogut/VSL3). One can maybe have this once a week and some other once a week. As mentioned, supplementing your diet with probiotics is very very good, for children and adults. Only thing is which strain, which things you add to stack etc. Additional Note: Consider buying your probiotics from regular pharma companies like Cipla, Sun Pharma, Intas etc. These are much better than buying from unknown companies (though one can't paint all with same brush) as many of the smaller ones just import the powders from China, package it in tablets and sell it. This turns out to be quite useless as bacteria cannot be transported in bulk aboard container ships (from china) and be expected to have the same potency as something grown locally in a pharma company here. At the least the CFU count will be suspect from these importer companies

This is a super magic product. At the slightest imbalance in the tummy of my kids, I administer one sachet and the upset tummy gets back to normal just like that. The flavour is not off putting at all
