Fan veils are a new dance prop for me and my instructor had some for us to use in class as we started a new choreography. We were allowed to bring hers home with us to practice with so I became more familiar with the weight, length and flow of hers. I prefer to have my own props and I liked the color combinations offered with this company. I did order a set of fan veils and I am very happy with them. What I like most is that the ends are actually finished with stitching/surging but it is discreet.....the ones I first worked with had unfinished ends and would fray easily. The weight of the fabric is very light and flowy - similar to what I first worked with - but maybe just a little thinner and lighter weight. The colors are very rich and striking and fade into each other very nicely. They do require being worked with or "broken in" to loosen how the fan pops open as they are a little stiff to start with. Part of the stiffness, however, I think, is due to my inexperience and my small hands in getting used to working with this prop. I am also fairly short (5' 3") so I have to put a lot of speed and strength to keep the veils flowing so I don't get tangled up in them. Lol! Yes, I have had those moments! Hope this info helps someone...... And, yes, I would buy these again.......

Beautiful. Get them. They are very delicate and will wear out kinda soon. But they are definitely soft and very flowy. I'm not sure it's real silk but it is a better fabric than the lone ones sold for $9 on here that are of a very rough material that is even cut too narrow or badly. I would say that the fan part gave me a few splinters. I guess it wasn't polished well. I took a soft nail file and buffed it a bit which fixed the problem. Otherwise they are beautiful and flowy but I can forsee they will rip quickly.Do not wash them. I dirtied mine accidently and washed the flowy part and it bleeds like crazy, some of the pink bled into the yellow and after taking long to air dry, it got a bad egg smell. I had to rewash gently and usedy blow dryer at a distance to dry. It's a bit better. It survived so I guess that's good. The only down side is that these better ones only come in pairs. I only need the right one as using both of them is rarely something my church dance team uses.

I needed them for a belly dancing competition and they were beautiful! The colors were vibrant and the quality was durable and not cheap. The length wasn’t too long, but I’m 5’10 so take that until consideration. These veils were pretty easy to use, considering I’m was a first time veil user. It flowed well and the material is lightweight. I enjoyed using them for this choreography and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a vibrant pair of veils.

While the colors are vibrant and exquisite the material is very tinkled and unevenly cut. The bamboo was splintery and didn’t open well so we never too it all the way out oft he package and returned it. They need to cut the material more even and sand the bamboo that’s the worst part we got splinters before even barely taking it out

Love the fabric, its thin and flows really perfect. Too bad that the wooden sticks are too fragile. But overall perfect if you use it carefully.

These are lovely fans. They’re on the longer side so they take a little bit to get used to, but once you do, they’re so fun. The flow is beautiful and they’re quite a workout. The wood can break if you’re rough, but treat them well and they will treat you well. I use mine often and can be clumsy and they’ve held up great. Recommend!

Good quality of fans. Perfect for my daughters school dance show. Good value for the money. Not heavy and the color was spot on! A beautiful silky red.

The fans are a perfect size and the silks are long and flowy. I was nervous about buying silk fans from here cause I was worried the silk would be too stiff but it's perfect! And they gave me a third fan as a bonus! ❤️

Me sirvieron mucho, la verdad quede satisfecha con el producto. Los únicos detalles que le veo es que el uso constante de ellos si llega a desgastar la tela y un algo delgado el abanico en la madera.
