The Lumbar Loft is a unique 3-sectioned inflatable back support pillow equipped with an elastic belt to hold it's place unlike other common lumbar pillows. This portable pillow is ideal for comfort while traveling, sleeping, driving, sitting in an office chair, and laying on your couch. It can be inflated according to your preferred firmness. You can either inflate by blowing into the 3 separate valves (similar to airing up a beach ball) or inflate using the small hand pump provided with every purchase. Deflating the pillow is just as easy. You can pinch the valves and gently press down until the pillow is flat. Once the air has been released, you can roll up the Lumbar Loft and place it in the convenient carrying pouch (included) and stow away. The Lumbar Loft can also be used to prevent bed sores. This product totally worked for me!
I'm a night-shift nurse with chronic back pain that works long hours on my feet. The Lumbar Loft with its three separate inflatable sections offered me the flexibility to inflate the different sections based on the firmness I need. So with me being mostly a side sleeper, I love the support this belt offers. Most other products seem to focus on people that lie on their back only. Works amazing for me & easy to travel with!

Waste of Money!!!
This belt sounded like a great idea to provide pain relief while sleeping, but it's promise went unfulfilled. The belt was uncomfortable to wear, the inflatable inserts could not hold air, and the Velcro wraps began fraying after just a few uses. I cannot recommend this product for back support. Look elsewhere!

Belt too long, velcro too short. Unable to fasten snuggly.
The belt is too long to fit snuggly around my waist. Let me explain. The belt is comprised of three pillows: one on each side, and one lumbar pillow. Why anyone would want a pillow jammed into their sides I don't know. It's easy enough to not inflate the side pillows if you don't like them (and I don't), but once the side pillows are deflated the belt becomes too long to fasten snuggly. My waist is 31". The belt is not adjustable to all sizes.

Had to buy my own!
This is the second one I bought. Cody's wife here. I borrowed it from him and fell in love with it. I don't have serious back problems, just get stiff from sitting too long. this solved the problem of long car rides and when my back is sore from sitting.

Not well designed
The black cover for the 3 inflatable sections would not stay on the ends. The cover also stained the sheets black. The inflation tubes were poky so I wore belt backward to avoid being poked. I returned this item as soon as I could.

Keeps my back aligned while sleeping
This helps keep my spine aligned while sleeping on my sides. I have scoliosis and when I showed this to my chiropractor she said it will be good for my alignment issues. I bought it for the easy inflatable adjustment.
