Not expansive and works fine
Bought as a second panel for my small workshop/shed. This has now been running for 48 hours and seems fine to me. Gives out a similar amount of heat to another similarly sized panel from another supplier. Good for small areas. Cheap to run too if the information is correct.👍

Good product. Produces a "Nice" form of heat and I understand very efficiently
Bought as an experiment (not had an infra red heater before). It worked! (much to my surprise if I am honest) It gave out (a small amount - it was only 180w) of heat and I would say the "only heating you and not the air around you" claim was actually genuine/true! (nobody more surprised than me...) It presumably only gave off 180 watts of heat, but It also didn't get very hot itself, so it would be good around small children / animals or whatever. And, more important, it produced a "nice" sort of heat: you could feel it on your skin but the room didn't get stuffy.

Nice gentle heat
I got the 180W version to heat a small bathroom extension which gets cold in the winter. At first I did not feel much for an hour or so, but after that I could feel the gentle warming from it and it warms the room really well. No fans, no noise, no 2000W from the arrgessive quartz heater it replaces. Very please. However, it really needs a thermostatic controller. This didn't come with it, but we already had a digital temperature control panel

Flimsy
I bought this as a bit of an experiment having not tried infrared heating before. Of course it is the wrong time of year to really test the heating efficiency but I switched it on just to make sure it worked. I could feel some heat but I could not say it was a real test. The reason I describe this unit as flimsy is that it is fitted to the wall /ceiling by sliding the thing on to two screws. The metal is incredibly thin. I had intended to fit it to the ceiling of a shed but I did not like to risk it falling. The generic instructions indicate there should be four screws, on in each corner but there appeared to be no way of doing that, perhaps because it was a small unit. I shall see how this works come the winter but at present I am a bit pessamistic. Another minus is that there is no heat control, just on/off. A further issue with the instructions is that they say there should be 10cm behind the unit but given the method of fixing that seems impossible.

Waste of money, material and energy.
150w version barely radiates any heat. Sure if I place my hand 5cm from the panel I tis warm, but for the use advertised, ie under a desk and a few feet from it there is nothing. A waste of money, materials and energy. I now have two holes in my wall I will have to fill!

Robust, efficient, easy to use, mobile
Excellent quality & value for money Energy efficient for small rooms ie. Caravan Space saving as can be mounted in many ways eg. On walls or by purchasing additional stands. It is not unsightly as it is just a clear white panel making its appearance aesthetically pleasing. There is no temperature control but I think a thermostat can be bought separately to control its use thus making it even more efficient. I must say I bumped & dropped mine a few times without any issues to the item at all so that’s why I give 5 stars as it’s robust enough to withstand such clumsiness.

Serious Safety Issue 180 Watt Far Infrared Heater
180 Watt Far Infrared Heater Having no experience of Far Infrared heaters, I purchased this to evaluate their use. Though I have not yet been able to do this, I feel I must post this review ASAP on safety grounds. As other reviewers have highlighted it comes fitted with a two pin plug, I also received a two pin to three pin adaptor. The two pin plug does have an earth connection which would be compatible with some European systems but not with UK sockets, and the supplied 2 to 3 pin adaptor has an Earth pin which together would allow you to connect and power the heater. DO NOT DO THIS. When the two pin plug and the adaptor are connected there is NO Earth Connection between the two, and it is critical that this heater is properly earthed! The manufacturer has clearly labelled the item on the metal back panel “ELECTRIC SHOCK KEEP GROUND WIRE CONNECTED”! I would strongly recommend that you have a competent person fit a 3 pin plug with a suitably rated fuse. I hope this may prevent someone having a nasty accident. Stu W
