The Equipment when connected looks good and smooth. This changes in few mins, the devise get slow and freezes when you use navigation and keep restarting. This is not useful and waist of money for practical use. Very disappointed with the device. I never get any app update of roy car too till date. if anyone finds a was to update or a fix for the device please share.

Well, after so many reviews and opinions I finally bought this device for my Honda Civic car. And here is my honest review of the device. Pros: 1. The device is very small and cute, and it doesn't occupy too much space. 2. The connection is very seamless, when I tested it with the timer it connects within 30 secs which is pretty fast. 3. The major advantage is no more cable on your car for android auto to connect. Cons: 1. When I connected this device to my car and searched for the device on my phone it did find the device and connected, but then when I navigated to the home screen it was showing Apple carplay logo instead of the Android Auto logo, which disappoints me the most. 2. On the manual they mentioned checking the update for the device and installing the latest software (if available) but unfortunately it wasn't even loading the website when entering the IP address. And this irritates me as the technology should be simple and easy to use rather than making it more complicated. 3. On the steering wheel control "Google assistance" doesn't work for me (not sure if anything to be changed) even after multiple attempts I couldn't use any command and it wasn't even listening. 4. The call quality seems ok when connecting to this device. A slight disturbance will be heard throughout the call. 5. The video playback delays the audio for at least 5 secs. Audio and video are not in sync and it lags the content. 6. The touch sensitivity is lagging a bit and you'll have to select the options in patience. So, in my opinion for this product 1.5 to 2 stars will be given as they need to improvise a lot for the better customer satisfaction.

It’s amazing when it works. I took me a while to get this device working with my VW Teramont 2022. First, it got connected but the audio was not coming out so I had to go to system settings and change the audio type from DVD to CD. Not sure why setting the configuration to CD has turned on the audio however, it was a lucky strike just before getting exhausted. Another thing, I have tried to connect another iPhone and suddenly it has stopped working again, I managed to connect via device Wi-Fi and performed a factory rest then, it worked with one device. Last thing, if I accidentally disconnect the wifi while CarPlay is on, it will not connect again until switching off the car. Still want to buy it? Yes go ahead as when it works, it’s amazing compared to the cable CarPlay
