Still holding strong after several uses!
This ground screw was a nightmare to install haha because the dirt in my yard is hard and rocky, but now that it's in there, it's doing its job! I have the other end of my slack line on a tree. The line has had multiple sessions with myself (130lbs) and my climbing partner (190lbs). It does feel like the line loosens a bit throughout the session, but I'm hoping that will stop happening over time as this ground screw settles and locks into place.

Enable slacklining where you normally couldn't.
Fantastic to enable slack-lining where you otherwise couldn't. This is a semi-permanent solution -- easily removable but it takes some patience to get into the ground, depending on ground hardness. The box only comes with one screw, so get two if you need both sides. I bought two, but I only needed one. I use a basketball pole on one end and then I have 15ft (beginner) and 30ft (advanced) anchor points. Once installed it is solid. Build quality is very heavy duty.

Screw was malformed, would not screw into ground
The screw was malformed. It appears that the interior portion of the screw was welded correctly, but that the outside of the fin was somehow bent or defective from the factory, such that there is a bump that is counter to the direction that it should be screwed in. This prevents the screw from advancing into the ground more than about 4 inches up the shaft.

Works great, hard to screw all the way in
Just letting you know you will likely need a long strong steel beam to put in this and a person on both sides to actually screw this thing in the ground. The video makes it look easy, my wife and I had to really crank that sucker to get it in. But once it's in you're good. It's a lot easier to get it out.

so I was pleasantly surprised to come across something like this to make a setup possible
I don't have a 2nd tree or support to setup a slackline, so I was pleasantly surprised to come across something like this to make a setup possible. I have a lot of hard dry stony ground so installation took some time and muscle even after wetting it down, you'll need a long pipe or something for leverage once you get more than a few inches down. I got about half way down before being stopped by a rock or something, but decided to give it a try anyway after letting the ground dry over 24 hrs. It was definitely not enough. Didn't pull out right away but it would have with a bit more abuse. You've got to go all the way down! I pulled it up and started a new bore and was able to get it all the way down. Everything is steady as a rock now! Though definitely a lot more work than worth it for a quick afternoon setup at the park. I'm planning on leaving the screw in one place for some time.

Misleading product description
The product description and the attached images made it look like a stand to install a slack line without trees. However, these are just overpriced ground anchors. You still have to buy the gibbons stand if you want to use the slackline without trees. Very disappointing.

You need to put-it deep in the sand.

Solid anchor
Exactly as described. Installed in a clay environment and needed to use a 36" steel pipe thru the eye hole in order to get enough torque to get it into the ground. Rock solid!

Producto incompleto
