I need an instruction booklet for my solar pond pump.

All you need is to set it in water and it automatically will start the fountain ⛲️- just change the fountain tips to see which effect you prefer. Clean the “sponge” filter every so often.

how high does the fountain rise?

If you're referring to the height the water reaches when the fountain is operating, that depends on which nozzle is used. We're using one of the small, 6-holed nozzles; with no wind blowing, water has avg. 8" ht.-water ht. can vary, but that is/normal for a solar fountain. We wanted a fountain that did a good job of moving the water to keep BOTH solar fountain AND birdbath bowl cleaner; so far, this one has worked well for us. Be sure to check base of solar fountain every day or two to wipe down the bottom; we use a cheap/used toothbrush to clean the water intake filter and fountain bottom.
