The cables that split off were long enough to reach where I needed them, flexible enough to tie up to keep things tidy and most importantly it all felt decently constructed and I wasn't afraid of anything breaking / popping off.

Guess it's okay if you use it for something besides a fan.

It is an expensive item. They used an old 3 pin connector for the two pin connection. It works, but it is a sloppy build.
