I like them they're the perfect size for my outdoor candles they light up every night and all is well and that's all you can ask for

ORIGINAL: This set of solar candles is perfect for my outdoor Halloween & Christmas displays. I keep them on porch, out of the rain - although the description claims to be water resistant, many of the reviews say they aren't so I'm playing it safe. My only issue is that one of the candles doesn't work as consistently as the other 2, sometimes it lights up and sometimes not. You get what you pay for, these are relatively cheap.

Just took them out to charge, two of the six candles didn't work. The ones that do work are beautiful; hope they last.

The product is just as described, they recharge via the sun every day.

I love the look of the candles but only 2 of the 3 candles seem to work. I’ve tried moving them around to make sure they were getting enough sun. But nothing has worked.

Battery life is amazing. The size of the candles are beautiful. The value for your money is awesome. The brightness is awesome lifespan of the candles they I’ve had them now two weeks and they’re still working strong so easy to use they go with any theme. You can use them inside or outside if you long as you put them next to a window, they will get charged. They’re awesome. I recommend anyone to buy

UPDATE: 10 of the 15 candles purchased (5 sets of 3) are no longer working. I live in Southern California, so rain is rare, but one storm came through and now nearly every candle has rusted inside and will no longer charge. The only ones surviving are ones that were completely enclosed in lanterns that are under our pergola - although they have evidence of water inside and rush is beginning. Definitely NOT waterproof. Very disappointing that after just a few months two thirds of these have failed spectacularly. Do not purchase!! **** I've bought 5 sets of these (3x4/5/6 Inch) to go into my collection of lanterns around my yard. I searched every store for months to find solar candles that have this type of shape/flame design, so when I found these I was super excited. At the time, there were no reviews so I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best and was really thrilled when they all worked out of the box, and even after a few overcast days, still lit up and flickered in the evening just like real candles. Downside: The description states they are waterproof, but some of the ones I've received are not. 3 of them (two 6 inch and one 4 inch, so from different boxes) have water inside after a little rain - I can hear it sploshing around inside - and sadly are no longer working. I have kept them outside with the hopes that the water would evaporate and that they'd start working again, but after 5 days of warm sunny weather, no luck so far... As for the running time the description clearly states "working time up to 25-30 hours after fully charged." Well, that's not quite true. Even after being out in full sun all day, they start fading after 5-6 hours, with all of them going out by hour 8, so I have no idea how anyone would get them to work for 25hrs. Although I don't really need them to last all night, it would be nice if they did last a little longer. I've only had these candles for two months, so it's disappointing that 20% of them are already not working, which is almost $30! If the waterproofing seal could be a little better, and the longevity of the 'flame' would last a little longer, then I'd have given these 5 stars and would definitely have purchased more, but sadly I've knocked a star off as they just don't quite live up to the description. If you're keeping them out of the rain, they I'm sure there wouldn't be any problem and I would recommend these solar candles, although with the knowledge that they'll only be alight for a few hours.

Was a little concerned at first , very lightweight but function beautifully. Great effect at night and lasts the whole night with no issue. Easy to charge outside. No issues and the seller was highly attentive to them getting to me and working. Would they work if left in continuous water no but they are excellent value for money Update Few weeks on. One of the candles (middle) just stopped working. Dead now left with two functional. Reported to Seller who advised me to contact Amazon. No luck getting anything done. Seems the initial satisfaction quickly waned. Updating rating.review on the back of that

These are not waterproof but they are the best outdoor candles I have ever seen so far. They look very very real as well

Arrived quickly, work well, look great

The product is not fit for purpose. One candle does not work. Unfortunately this item is shipped from USA and I had to find and return via UPS. Also, the candles do not come on until it is pitch dark i.e. late.
