Black Paradox

If you liked Gyo then give this a try. The premise is quite original, which is always the expectation from Ito. For me his best long work will always be Uzumaki, but I admire the consistency of Ito's books and this was at par.

The book is actually reprint of the ito’s 2008 book. The story has everything you can expect from junji ito. though story is little slow paced but still does total justice with the characters as well as events which occur along the way. The story gives you an Lovecraftian vibes with ito’s usual mundane and eerie style. Must read for cosmic/sci fi horror fan. There is a bonus story which is with the great art is actually kinda useless.

Note that the book hasn't been mirrored like it is sometimes the case with English translations of these books. I don't bother getting up and checking but I believe Ito's UZUMAKI hardcover also flips right to left but pages are mirrored so you read them left to right (like the AKIRA anniversary edition). It takes a minute getting used to but it's all good. Great book in the well-known style of Junji Ito.

Edizione viz di alta qualità, come sempre. Materiale esterno simil matte, si sporca facilmente e si riempie di impronte. Le scritte sono fatte con del glitter,quindi prestare attenzione alla pulizia, capita che alcune lettere si possano staccare (a me non è capitato) Facilmente comprensibile per chi,come me ha un inglese scolastico
