Value for money. Just buying the carcass saved me ยฃ75. I transfered in innards of my old key fob into the new key fob and It worked perfectly. I recommend this product

Fits hyundai i30 2012
Brought for my hyandai i30 2012 and works and fits, however it keeps popping open, there is a screw whole to fix it but never come with a screw so have had to d i y it together, should have just brought one properly but will do for now!

Easy to transfer over, do remember to switch the transponder chip too! Unfortunately the key flip doesn't work well at all and sticks. Not my first key change so not user error. But otherwise a useful fob replacement.

No screw included
No screw included. Tried to change my old key fob and car ignition wouldn't start. Had to pay ยฃ80 for someone to come and put a screw in. And half shift from work.

Just keep the fob and ditch the blank key
Take care taking apart your old fob and the new one. Remove the electrics, the chip and the spacer under the chip. Refit them in the new fob including the old key. Wind the old key one turn in the new fob so ot springs open when the button is pushed. Squeeze the new fob together. Fit the screw. Put on the battery cover and it works just like the discarded one. It took me 15 .minutes

Great product
The only difficulty was splitting the original fobs to get access to the chip etc as it was glued. The replacement fobs were easy to set up and worked perfectly. Highly recommended these fobs and the price was so good I bought 2 and also did the spare as the buttons were wearing out on both originals.
