Nice. Great. Does everything as well as I expected it to. However, having a fixed, short connection to the device means it's not so convenient for switching between devices - depending on the account if space you have and what you're switching between.Just something to consider, otherwise this is a great hub.

I am so happy with this product that I had to write a review. I just plugged this Anker USB C Hub in and everything worked; I connected my 2012 Apple Cinema display using a Cable Matters DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort Adapter, ethernet and power cable. As a bonus, my picture quality improved. Highly recommended!

UPDATE:Nope, it's just the hub. :(It's either defective or not a good product, which is unfortunate.The stutter issue has been resolved, but I can still not use the dock to push an image to my secondary monitor (1080p).I spent several hours this evening updating drivers for my Lenovo Thinkpad E15 Gen2 (AMD) without success. FYI: This laptop DOES support PD+DP through USB-C, something I confirmed before trying to go down the USB-C route in an attempt to replace my ancient Diamond USB-A dock.An image was never sent to my second monitor, whether connected via HDMI or DP through the hub.In all cases, the monitor IS recognized by Windows, so some information is being communicated, just not an image to the monitor.During every attempt, when the monitor was first plugged in, responsiveness in Windows would stutter, lag, and generally respond slowly to my KB+M inputs until, eventually, the laptop caught up and was OK.I am highly disappointed and am considering returning both products, but the USB-C dock is definitely returning.It would be nice, but I don't need a 100W charger.My hope of replacing my current USB-A dock is diminishing at the price point I was hoping for, so we shall see if it's up to the task of the new 2K monitor I have on the way and go from there.Original:Buyer be cautioned:The Anker 565 USB-C also needs power for itself, which is evident if you think about it, but it's not stated anywhere that I could find, and it may not dawn on you until things aren't working quite right.Lack of power could cause many issues I've read about in reviews.The issue:Mouse movement would stutter every 5-10 seconds.Though Windows recognized my HDMI monitor in Device Manager/Display settings, no image was sent to it through the Anker hub.Current theory:So, the manufacturer's 65W USB-C charger for my laptop cannot FULLY power the hub with one connected HDMI monitor, two USBs, and Ethernet through the USB-C hub.I did not test the two USB devices (Keyboard and headset) as there was little need once the stuttering began, which was immediate.I have an Anker Nano 100W arriving tomorrow, and I will update the review once I've re-tested.Suggestion:My ask to Anker would be to *estimate* the power draw of their dock and list it somewhere with many warnings, etc.If they wanted to go above and beyond and add averages for peripherals and the like, that would be amazing, but if not, I would understand, as I'm sure that information could become dated fast.A power warning would have prompted me to consider the power charging situation, and I may gone with one of their docks (About a $100 increase) instead. But now that I'm annoyed, I'll purchase a 100W charger that I can use for my work laptop and elsewhere as needed. :)They are still getting my money, but not as much.They make amazing products, but small details like this matter to me as a consumer.

I initially purchased this dock for my laptop as I needed the extra ports. Anker has been a reliable brand for me and this product lived up to expectations. I have since purchased a second dock since I found out I can use it with my iPad Pro and also with my new iPhone 16 Pro which has a USB-C port. The versatility, small size and weight, and reliability make it easy to carry. I interface two additional monitors from this dock, external drives, and SD cards from my cameras. I also use it to connect my wireless keyboard and mouse on all the devices, which allows me to use my iPad as laptop. I am rough with my stuff and this hub has held up to my abuse. Highly recommended.

I bought this hub for a desktop computer and referred it to a friend for his laptop. I haven't had much problem with simple use, but the instructions really are lousy. Basically a simple picture that calls out the.ports is not enough at all. I liked the 10GB capacity and have a few items connected., but my friend can't get an external display connected to via the USB-C to work at all. The instructions say what the ports are, but not what they can do or their actual rating. I assumed you plug things in and they work, but that's not true. As well, it's only port powered by the computer it seems, plugging in a 100w charger doesn't seem to power any of the USB ports :(USB Ports used to be easy, but now there are complicated standards and the documentation or website doesn't tell you what spec they are. 10GB is not enough to know if your items will actually work, nor do they explain how powering it works or even how to use it with a desktop computer. Anker used to be a great company and everything worked, but now a days you can't count on that. If you have plans for anything other than simple connections, you'll probably want to waste the time calling or writing their support to inquire if their device would actually work. The critical information about such just doesn't seem to exist. Not everybody are utter idiots and some can actually understand the standards and why, but there's no help for them / us. The cheapest 1 picture "User Guides" are just pathetic and really not helpful or enough to know if like using a USB-C Display can even work with it. As for using their hubs on desktops, good luck with that too, that is not even documented.Yes a nice product, but will it work when you expect, good luck with that! All of their documentation is equally lacking. It really is frustrating that you'd have to call or write them to find out anything helpful, if they can even answer your questions.All their stuff is nice, just as long as you don't require too much out of their equipment, and forbid you ever need real documentation since it doesn't exist. Great stuff, when it works. But half their products are not cables, and more than simple picture is needed. This hub is one of those items
