I don’t really know how to explain this, here goes. I got the blanket a couple of weeks ago and found it excellent in helping my insomnia. It made going to bed a pleasure it felt so relaxing. I bought the correct weight of blanket for my body weight. After about a week the bottoms of my legs started to feel very warm, so much so I had to check if I’d left the electric blanket on, which I hadn’t. A few days after that I got cramps in my lower legs. This is something I suffer from occasionally I usually just rub some magnesium oil in them and it goes. It happened last night but instead of the cramps going they kept coming back, just as bad whenever I got back into bed. After 4 lots of magnesium oil I decided to research weighted blankets and found articles about the blankets causing leg cramps and feeling of heat in legs. Sadly the blanket is going to have to go back as it’s still under guarantee. I’m so disappointed as I found it so helpful. UPDATE 15/1/23 repositioned the blanket so there was no overhang at the edge of the bed and gravity wasn’t pulling it down making it heavier. Since then it’s been brilliant no cramps etc, not slept this well for years. Many many years ago I lived with my Gran. In those days bedding was much heavier, 3 wool blankets, an eiderdown and counterpane etc on top so really quite heavy. Somehow this blanket takes me back to those days, feeling safe. I can’t say I was feeling unsafe pre-blanket but it’s the only way I can describe it. Tomorrow’s challenge is washing it. Washer’s maximum load is 8kg so all should be well 🤞.

This is more like a duvet than a blanket. I didn't spot it in the description as it came up in my search for a blanket. Having said that I am glad I made the mistake as this is a really good alternative. It is of a very high quality( Swedish company) heavy enough but very comfortable and it has really made a difference to my sleep. You do need a duvet cover for this.

Feels quite nice, like a firm but gentle hug, this makes you slow down and plan movements such as turning over, as a bit of effort is needed. I tried for a week, maybe should have tried longer. Main issue for me was it made me feel cold (it is filled with cold glass beads and I tried it during a winter cold snap), I have put away to try again in summer, it least it may be helpful on hot nights, Also it feels too heavy to put in the washing machine, so for peace of mind I will have to wash by hand i think. Maybe a bit of a gimmick, but I'm sure will work for some people. ha ha.

I had some doubts when i received the product and thought maybe 7kg is too heavy for me, being myself around 55kg only, but after trying it out it feels perfect. My sleep has improved, i haven't woken up feeling too hot or too cold as i used to, somehow it keeps temperature steady. Really happy with it and recommend to others 👌

It's only been 2 nights, but this is an excellent weighted blanket. It's very soft to the touch, heavy to carry (it's 7kg), but once it is draped over you, it's just perfect. Looks to be excellent quality and was delived very quickly. Perfect fit for a single bed, of just draped over shoulders, or on the sofa. Don't let the bottom hang off the end of the bed, this will weigh down your feet/legs and could give you leg aches. Let it reach just before the end of the bed. It's white, so a single duvet cover will work nicely to keep it clean.

If you like to feel snug in bed this is the quilt for you, quality materials, good weight for a weighted quilt, not too heavy, I love it however my husband feels trapped, he doesn’t enjoy not being able to move freely because of the weight…not sure of the health benefits you are supposed to get from sleeping under a weighted quilt as of yet but I am definitely sleeping better.

This is a great weighted blanket. It's soft, heavy (obviously) and comes with a little carry-bag making it easy to store / transport. It is white, so I'd advise getting a duvet cover of some kind for it if you're worried about getting it dirty, but with or without a cover it is great for people who suffer from an anxiety disorder. The individual I purchased this for gave great feedback and uses it regularly when they feel unwell and it really helps to re-ground.

Vastly improved sleep quality. You will worry that you have gone too heavy when you first try it, after a few days, you may want to go even heavier! I *suggest* you go for the heaviest in your range if you are sharing a bed, but if getting for medical reasons, go with, and only with your practitioners advice in this regard. Very comfortable, but you may find you can get hot due to the sort-of seal that forms around you, especially if there are two of you. Leaving a gap anywhere solves this.

Es lo que esperaba. El producto viene en una bolsa con asas para transporte. El material exterior se ve de buena calidad y es muy suave al tacto. Al cubrirte con la manta sientes el peso distribuido uniformemente. Yo la he colocado de manera tal que no se solape sobre si misma cerca de la cabecera, sino sería muy pesada sobre el pecho y los hombros. Es decir, que quede "simple". Para mi cumple su función de relajación muy bien. Pero entiendo que puede no ser lo ideal para todo el mundo. Habrá que ver que pasa en verano, que se necesita menos abrigo.
