The media could not be loaded.  Got this for my ‘tea party’ mad niece and she absolutely loves it! The pieces feel well made and like they will last for quite a while in the hands of a 3 year old!

A really fun game that boosts communication and thinking skills.The premise of this game is the following: you have a bunch of different tea cups, you flip a card and have to build the tower the card shows, relay style, as quickly as possible.Why this is a good learning toy is because they're learning without noticing:- they have to count how many cups high the tower is.- they have to remember what cup goes next.- they have to carefully place things without making a mess.- they have to be quick thinking to do it quickly and correctly.- they have to communicate 'under pressure' to get the tower built efficiently.This is best played with a group of kids. It would also work with 2 teams (could be a mix of children and parents).It is not the typical learning we think about but these are all skill that young children need to fine tune and practise and the more they do, the easier they'll have it as they grow up.Definitely a lot of fun and a good learning toy (that can also double up as a play pretend, tea time set).

The media could not be loaded.  Teacup Pile-Up is constructed from plastic. It is comparative in strength & texture to that of LEGO so you can be sure that it won't easily break or snap, in fact it's almost impossible to crack. The two small serving trays are made from cardboard but do have a wipe down, water resistant surface.It is completely safe to handle as a children's toy & in fact after after some hours of using this game as it was intended for, it became used to serve 'warm', super sugary tea to the adults. This is the way!No reading skills are required so preschoolers can have just as much fun as the older kids. You randomly pick a coloured card and build the same configuration on the image of said coloured card, it's that simple. The tea pot has a bell inside it, with a 'push button' on the top which you ring when you've completed your stack. You are encouraged to shout 'teas ready' when you're stack is finalised. The kids love this funny little feature. You can't use the teapot as a teapot as it is a sealed unit and not designed to take fluids but you can use the tea cups for this extra bit of fun.Teacup Pile-Up does require critical thinking so it’s a great way to get children to practice that skill without them realising that they are doing so. They’ll also work on gross motor skills, (Gross motor skill development involves the large muscles in the arms, legs and torso. Gross motor activities are important to everyday physical activities like walking, running, throwing, lifting, kicking, etc.) their balance and their 'hand to eye' coordination.Teacup Pile-Up has allowed my daughters imagination to blossom as she now uses it to set elaborate tea parties for her teddies and dolls. Her unicorn even joins in the fun! For these 'added' reasons it does make this 'overly' priced children's toy good value for money. O, she does use it in her sand pit as well so it is a very versitile and rugged item.Four stars as I feel that this is overly priced but a very nice children's game/toy.

I am personally a fan of Learning Resources, I think they have great educational toys that are different thank what you would usually buy from other brands.This cute set is a perfect gift for a child. I think 3-6 years is the perfect age for this game. It has instructions inside but I also think that can be used for role play just with the tea cups and trays, or basic stacking game.The set includes 1 teapot, 8 teacups, 8 saucers, 1 order cards, 2 tea trays and the cabinet game board which is basically the box.I think the quality is great and the box looks really good. This tea set is lovely.The design is cute and the colouring beautiful, it is really nicely made, lots of attention to detail.A great quality toy.My daughter loves playing tea parties with it and it comes nicely packaged and presented so would make a lovely gift for a little one.Good price point.5 stars!

When I ordered this game it was £30. I had high hopes. But this is nothing more than a plastic tea set - and a very small one. The game idea is good but it could be done with any kids plastic cups and saucers. There’s nothing special about the box of trays - they are Just thick cardboard. So it’s just and incredibly over priced kids plastic tea set with a good fun game idea. If it were cheaper, no more than £10 then maybe but at £30 no way

Can say its an excellent game to improve motor skills.Well made, very colourfull and easy to play with it.Such game perfect for girls over 4 years old.Price for such game is great to.So surely I can recommend it to all.

My 3 YO daughter doesn’t use these for the game part she just has very elaborate tea parties. Win either way. She likes that the tea pot dings when she hits the top.

Fue para un regalo y la niña está encantada, no deja de jugar . Es divertido y de material duro por lo que si cae no le pasa nada. También es muy bonito y los colores son preciosos. Sin duda un acierto.

Liebe Leser,wir dürfen das "Learning Resources EI-3085 Teacup Pile-Up Spiel, Stapelspiel für Vorschulkinder, Aufbau feinmotorischen Geschicks, ab 4 Jahren, Multi" testen und möchten dieses wie folgt bewerten:Ich habe dieses Stapelspiel für meine beiden Töchter (3 + 6) zum Testen bestellt.Man erhält hier ein komplettes Teeservice mit einigen Tassen, Untersetzern und einer Teekanne. Dabei sind außerdem noch einige Karten, die zeigen wie man die Tassen stapeln soll/könnte.Genau genommen bekommt man hier: 8 Kunststoff-Teetassen, 4 Untertassen, 10 Bestellkarten, 1 Teekanne, 2 Teetabletts und 1 Teetassen-Regal (Boden der Verpackung). Hier sollte man also aufpassen, dass man die Verpackung nicht beschäftigt.Das Spiel wird ab 4 Jahren empfohlen, meine jüngste Tochter ist jetzt drei und hat auch schon sehr viel Spaß hier mitzuspielen. Das Spiel wird für 2-4 Spieler empfohlen.Alles an dem Set besteht aus Plastik. Dennoch ist alles sehr gut verarbeitet. Ich konnte hier keinerlei Mängel wie abstehende Plastikgrate etc. feststellen.Das Spiel funktioniert so, dass man eine Karte zieht, das Ganze von der Karte genau so nachbaut und wer zuerst fertig ist, ohne dass sein Kunstwerk umfällt und die Teekannen-Klingel betätigt, hat gewonnen.Im Großen und Ganzen gefällt uns das Spiel sehr gut. Wenn wir nicht gerade spielen, wird das Teeservice auch gerne so bespielt und einfach nur Kaffeekränzchen gemacht.Unser Fazit: Ein lustiges Spiel für Groß und Klein, das die Feinmotorik unheimlich gut schult. Die Verarbeitung des Sets ist ganz gut, auch wenn alles komplett aus Plastik besteht. Es ist niedlich gestaltet und wird auch so gerne bespielt. Insgesamt empfehlen wir es gerne weiter und vergeben aktuell volle 5 Sterne.Ich hoffe ich konnte Ihnen mit meiner Rezension weiterhelfen.Sollte sich etwas an meiner Meinung ändern, werde ich diese Rezension anpassen. Three and a half year old learned the concept of sequencing by building the pile from the bottom up as shown on the card. That concept was easier for the 6 year old, but both kids enjoyed the race and were challenged by hand/eye coordination required for the building

Meine Nichten und Neffen durften das Spiel von learning Resources testen.Dieses wird in einer bunten Schachtel geliefert. Eher auf Mädchen fokusiert. Das finde ich etwas schade.Das Spiel ist simple aber genial zu gleich. Man zieht eine Karte und muss es dann die Aufgabe erfüllen. Dies ist eine Kombination aus den Teilen zum stapeln. Hier ist Geduld, Ausdauer, Genauigkeit, Konzentration und Co. gefragt.Das finden wir als Erwachsene echt super. Die Kinder spielen dieses Spiel auch sehr gerne.
