I am a professional painter and thought I would give it a shot. It worked much better then expected. I gave me clean lines on trim, haven't used it for much outside of that though. You have to store it in a ziplock bag or the gel will dry out just like any other gel sealing tape.I honestly think ppl either don't know how to use the tape, the limitations of it or don't store it properly. Frog tape will bleed too if used on textured surfaces(needs the edge caulked) or used on glass window in direct sun(like how someone else posted). Gel edge tapes aren't supposed to be stuck down and used the next day either, they tend to bleed through when you do that.I bought this tape 2 years ago and have stored in ziplocks and it still worked great yesterday when I used it on stained trim I was trying to keep the paint off. Only thing I don't like about it is that is doesn't pull off in one piece, it tends to tear.

Getting the job done with great visibility. Are use this tape and separation markers for an auction house. And here’s to just about everything and is quick to come off leaving no residue. With any tape I can only advise do not put it on plexiglass for long periods of time. Difficult to get off no matter what type it is.

Could of been sticking better but it’s a cheaper tape not a name brand.

I use this tape every day for marking the date and contents on cartons of food before storing them in the freezer or fridge. It adheres very well, even when frozen. My husband is using it as painting tape right now on a house project, and he says the tape is slightly thinner than either of the name brand products we normally get, but that it doesn't make a difference. It comes off very nicely when he's done. The Duck brand tape has gotten to be a very dark blue and I can no longer use it to write on because you just can't read it, even in the black marker I use. I swear it used to be lighter. Anyway, in the future I will get this product every time.

Just to be clear this tape loses its adhesive capabilities very quickly. Feels and seems like it's going to stay put and hold... but nope! It starts to curl up on all the edges and if you tape something like a piece of cardstock to the wall... it will fall down within the month. Not reliable. Save your money.

Spent several hours taping up an intricate pattern on the wall. When I came back to it the next day, the tape had peeled off and fallen down. It looked like someone had sprayed tape-shaped silly string all over the place. But I suppose if you were going to tape and then immediately paint, you'd probably be fine. Just makes me wary of how crisp the lines would be.We ended up using a different brand for our final design and I've been using this tape to tag some of the stuff that our organization takes to events. The tape seems to adhere best to metal or plastic objects over wood or wall.

Just what I needed to tape off areas that were not going to be painted.

The adhesive strength is poor for outdoor use as court marking.

Great Value! Not as glamorous as Frog Tape, but it works just as needed for a better value.
