What are the Instructions for adjustment of color and resistance ? I have it hooked up but the reading is wrong and their was no instructions?

first of all, no matter what setting i used it didnt work right. to program if i remember correctly, 1 long press of the program button, the background color should illustrate, let off and cycle through the options, with each push of the button the ohms setting goes up, unless you know the ohm setting for your sending unit just cycle the options till you land on correct one. also try emailing the people you bought it from to help with info

How to Adjust 0-190ohm

The 0-190ohms can be adjusted by just pressing a button. Please refer to the manual which we sent together with the gauge. Sucicago service Team

can the sending unit be installed upside down"? it is for a harley davidson sportster motorcycle tank...

You would need to install a sending unit for that application. Otherwise it could give a reverse reading(full tank showing empty and an empty tank showing full.

How far off the bottom of the tank does this need to be?

It works

I bough the water gauge to use with a AODITECK sensor for a water tank. Everything works, but at first it only showed in 1/4 tank increments. After a few power cycles it started showing in 1/8 tank increments. Not sure if its the sensor or the gauge. Verified resistance settings are correct. This isn't a huge deal for me since I just want to have an idea of where my water tank is at.
