I was worried when I saw the price; how good could it be for $75 plus $9.99 for shipping. The shelves I have now were 2-3 hundred dollars. Thus, I could not believe how well the shelves are designed and constructed. Incredible value. The shelves are light weight. Do not be deceived. I recall working on boats and learning that something need not be heavy to be strong, and that applies to these shelves. It all comes down to engineering, and they did it right with these shelves. That said, if you really need something that will hold spare tires and batteries on the top shelf, you probably want something in the 2-3 hundred dollar range. I have one of those, and it weighs a ton. For most homeowners who need shelves in their garage, these are hard to beat. Perfect instructions - large, easy-to-understand directions, and actually written by someone who speaks English. I built it from start to finish in 25 minutes. Very few parts, which I greatly appreciated. No screws, just uprights, cross members, and racks plus two small plastic packages. On has L-shaped plastics to protect the ends of the uprights and the other has the four plastic pieces that allow you to stack the shelves. Packed like a nuclear warhead. Great protection; arrived without a scratch. I paid a whopping $9.99 to have them ship the order by FedEx Ground service. I pay more than that to ship a watch in a Priority Mail small box. What a steal. They include a small rubber mallet with the kit, which was invaluable. I love that it can be used as two sets of shelves or stacked as shown in the listing. The only negative is personal; a 48" wide shelf would have better served my needs. No worries, they make one of those too. Well done.

I decided to purchase online because the big box stores has crap for inventory and were way overpriced considering quality and sturdiness. I am nearing 75 yrs soon and assembled this on my own. I feel the instructions were very clear and helpful; I have another, larger shelving I bought and assembled eight years ago, and that item didn't even have instructions. One thing I noticed in assembling this was that I had to be aware of how the little nodes of the cross bars connected into the vertical bar. It's sometimes easy to overlook that both nodes are not actually in their holes, especially the lower one, which is not easily seen. I was easily able to disconnect the offending cross bar and realign. Sturdy shelving unit. I'm using it in an open closet that has no shelves, to store items for my apartment.

Smaller and not as sturdy as I thought they’d be

This was hands down one of the best things I've ordered on Amazon. The construction was phenomenal, the build quality felt good, well-milled steel rails, didn't have to mess with screws, it came with a rubber mallet, gloves, and every part has its own bag. The instructions identified everything in great illustration and simple, yet effective, descriptions. One thing they advertise is that you can split it into 2 separate shelves (in half) and I just expected it to sit on the ground and rust like most similar shelves do. Not the case here! This shelf comes with 8 EXTRA plastic end pieces for both the tops and the bottoms of each of the corners if you choose to split it. I feel like most things are built cheaply and not meant to last. I'm happy to say this shelf goes against that mentality. This reminds me of solid, well-made products from the previous generation. If you're between this and another potentially cheaper product in price/quality, I can't emphasize enough how worth it this one is!

This shelving unit far exceeded my expectations. I am in my 60s and put it together by myself and easily moved it to where I needed it. It is solid! I put the bottom shelf on first (a couple of notches up so it's not on the ground), then I added the middle shelf to connect the top and bottom vertical bars, then I added the top shelf. After that I added the two additional shelves to the height needed. Be sure to use the mallet to hammer each corner into the grooves completely. I love that the holes to hook the shelves in are concealed. I think the extra metal adds strength and stability and makes it more aesthetically pleasing, especially when being used indoors. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Easy to assemble, very stable and holds a ton of weight. It also looks slick and doesn't have too sharp of edges like other shelving units. It holds plastic tubs well and boxes, etc. I highly recommend this one! The shelves are metal thick mesh, so small items will need to be inside something, so it's ideal for longer term storage, food storage, plastic tubs, meatal cans, ammunition, etc.

I ordered a set of two shelves. The first shelf is great. The second shelf was missing two tiny little pieces, so I contacted the seller to send them. The seller asked me the same question multiple times, delaying the shipment. Then I pressed him to send the tiny pieces and he told me they have none in stock in the US and it will take a MONTH to replace them! Unacceptable. Don't sell things if you don't have all the parts
