Ivarest Medicated Poison Ivy Cleansing Foam, 6 Ounce

I own a landscaping company and we run into just about every type of poison and irritant out there. I've tried a lot of similar products, but none compare to Ivarest. As long as we use it as soon as possible after contact, it has a noticeable preventative effect. Even if a rash appears, it is helpful to soothe the itching. Hard to find in stores anymore so I buy through Amazon.

only way to deal with poison ivy is to see your doctor and get prednisone. This does not work.

thought i would give this product a try for my next contact with poison ivy, because of the cost, well it not work well at all.

This came highly recommended, maybe I did not give it a shot long enough. I found that Tide granular detergent and bleach was just as simple if not simpler(more effective). I do keep this by my sink now though, if working in the garden I ALWAYS wash with this when I am done!

I bought some of this Iva rest Medicated foam last Summer (it did not cost 44.00, either, I never could have purchased it if it did, the price was maybe 12.00 or 15.00 for the same 6 oz. product listed here, so I don't know what's up), and I love it, worked so well, was going to get some for my daughter and her family, but not at this price.

So far I have only gotten exposed to Poison Ivy once since receiving this soap. The blisters and itching appeared on the inner surface of my wrist after clearing some brush. I washed it thoroughly with the Ivarest and blisters went down and itching was gone. Took maybe a half hour to get rid of the symptoms. That is a good result in my opinion.

DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO STOP SPREAD OF POISON IVY

This is the best! If you wash with it fairly quickly you don't even get a rash. And, if you don't realize contact has occurred until after the rash develops, this product dries the rash up rapidly. I think maybe the company has quit making it because it's awfully hard to find. If so, they need to reconsider.
