I did a lot of research on portable monitors to use with the Steam Deck. After reading positive reviews with the Arzopa G1 I decided to try it. The price point for 144hz was to good not to try. I am blown away! First of all, the monitor comes with all the cables you need in the box. You do not! Need a dock to play your Steam deck and charge it. I was nervous hearing stories about Steam decks bricking using docks and portable displays. All you need to do is plug your Steam deck charger into the monitor. The charger will power the monitor and your Steam Deck at the same time. The case the monitor comes with is very nice looking and works as a stand. The stand holds sturdy and no issues with the monitor falling over. The picture looks great! Just make sure to change your settings in steam to play at a higher quality display and frame rate. Now I don’t always have to play on a small screen at home and can easily take this monitor and the deck on the go or if you do a lot of traveling. Arzopa definitely did a great job with this monitor and highly recommend giving it a try!

I bought it for work but use it for gaming more, I was looking for a portable monitor that didn’t require the use of the switch dock and this one doesn’t. It is just type C to type C and I love it. Not to mention the quality of this monitor is insane, tears of the kingdom looks better on this than on my TV. I am obsessed with it, perfect for taking out and about to play multiplayer games with friends without being confined to the small switch screen. And obviously if works perfect for work. It says it’s supposed to charge the device while plugged in and that may be a stretch if you switch is fully charged it will keep full charge but if your switch is dying you will not be able to fully charge it with the monitor. It won’t charge my laptop at all. But the quality of this makes up for that very minor issue. I’m obsessed with this thing

I purchased this on a flash sale, and I'm happy with my purchase. I wanted to grab up another monitor for my M1 MacBook air for app development in college, but didn't want to get a brick. This monitor fit that bill and puts out 120hz for the MacBook air, just plug and play with one USBC cable, plus it weighs about the same. I wanted to test out the 144hz, so I hooked it up to my gaming rig, and sure enough I was getting buttery smooth frames at 144hz from my rtx3070. The case is a little odd to get used to, but grabbing up a portable stand helped tremendously. Definitely recommend it if you're looking to grab up a best bang for the buck portible monitor.

I'll get the worst part of the panel out of the way first: No Freesync. This is a huge omission and, if I would have known beforehand, I would have not gone out of my way to get the version with high 144hz refresh rate, since unless you're working with a very fast source or have a very stable framerate cap, it is pretty sad. But that's the worst part of it all. The build quality is great, brightness is adequate, picture quality/color is average/above average, and IF you can push 144hz to it it will look fantastic in motion. I'd argue this is a great panel for a PS5 or an Xbox Series X. The HDR is pretty weak, though. So while the panel is bright, it doesn't do a great job at high contrast. But it isn't a major flaw like not having adaptive sync.

The Arzopa G1 gaming monitor is fantastic. I got a 15 inch version - not sure if there is any other. It's bright and the colors really pop. It has a min-HDMI port an two USB-C ports - if connected to a computer like a laptop with a USB-C that provides both video and power, it doesn't need anything else. The cover is really nice and acts as a stand. Only real downside is that if using in a portrait mode, the stand won't hold it at a good angle and you might need a separate stand. I would love it more if it were touchscreen, but for the price I am not complaining. It's very light-weight - I put it in my laptop bag and it hardly adds any noticeable weight. And it comes with cables and a charging block, making it a very good value. Highly recommended.

I've had this for over a year now and I've been very happy with it. Pros: IPS Color is accurate and gets very bright USB-C power is great as it can be powered by the steam deck and run directly from it Micro HDMI works as intended This thing is pretty wide and tall. I love the aspect ratio I use this on the go when traveling and on the side of my desk as a second monitor for discord and web browsing while I'm in games. It's very portable Definitely great for the money, especially vs the ViewSonic and major name brands Cons: Power button, volume and selection modes are all one button.. pretty cumbersome to move through the menu.. once you're used to it, it's okay, but I wish these were separate

I ordered mine yesterday and I'm receiving it today so I don't have the actual item yet but I wanted to at least share my experiences with looking for a device such as this. I have the following setup: M1 Mac Mini with dual 4K monitors. One of those monitors is dedicated to a 24/7 surveillance system and the other monitor is for watching YouTube, Hulu, etc. I also have my main custom-built PC. I’m temporarily using one of the Mac's 4K displays until this little guy arrives., I also have an iPad Air set up with the mini as a sidecar device for an extended desktop. So basically, the Mac is my workhorse and my gaming rig is for everything else...including gaming. Gaming on a 4K display means you're going to take an ugly hit to your FPS, regardless of how godlike your rig is. So, I prefer keeping things at 1920x1080 while having all the graphics settings on max while getting 100+ FPS. After I receive the item and have a little time with it, I'll return to this post and update you with my experience. I actually had a monitor similar to this on Dell's website and since I have open credit with them, I ordered theirs and as soon as I found this one, I canceled immediately. The other display was 1.6" smaller, 60hz refresh rate instead of 144, and a really bad aspect ratio compared to this one. I’ve been using it since I got it and I love it. Pro tip, get yourself an adjustable iPad stand. I got one and just removed the screen cover as I won’t be traveling with it. It’s just perfect for my niche situation. I needed a nice gaming display with high refresh rate but small footprint. This delivered on my expectations and then some.

This is my first time writing a review for an item. First I would like to start off by saying I purchase this screen on sep 9 of last year, ever since then I have played on this screen on everyday basics a least 6 hours+ because I am a gamer. I kept running into problems with this screen. It kept flickering going on and off, it wouldn’t let me adjust the brightness, and it kept randomly shutting off when I play games. At first, I had it where the screen is fully relying on my laptop battery ( my mistake) at least throughout the whole 5 months of owning this thing. I should’ve plug it in with a separate source of battery. Last week, it wouldn’t even stay on, it kept going on and off again. I couldn’t play anything on it . I decided to plug it in with a different power source and it made the screen 100 times better. Then I ran into this issue of it going on and off again. Mind you, I always unplug my screen from everything and my laptop. I really wanted this to screen to work because I bring this screen to play with friends and I love the versatility and portableness of it. But I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone because it should’ve lasted.I wish I could return it and get a new one because I honestly feel like mines was defected and it should’ve lasted a lot longer then it did. At this point now, I can’t even play games and have to buy another screen because this screen is completely dead. It won’t even turn on for me.

This is a must get for gaming, i had to take down my desktop computer, needed the room for my kids lol, so i moved to the Asus Rog Ally handheld and set myself with a portable set up this is a must have for the Asus rog ally, Nintendo Switch etc, the colour and quality is amazing for a portable screen, plug and play with no problems, only thing i would say need tweaking is the on board speakers are very dull but i use Asus cetra gaming ear buds as most people use headsets these days so didn't bother me.

Let's start with the goodies, no dead pixel,144hz!! , quite decent brightness, cables that come with it are good quality, metal body make it feel strong. Stead Deck and laptop plug and play. Power pass thru for charging the deck while using USB-C connection (make sure you have the power block to charge the SD and power the monitor, won't be able to make it with the power block that come with this monitor). The down sides, then screen protector/stand is very flimsy when used in the stand position and need extra support in the back most of the time. For Steam Deck users, seems to reach the 1080p resolution in game you'll need to be in desktop mode, but going 1080p will impact a lot the performance of the game, and won't be able to reach near 144hz with more modern titles. Playing a 720p is actually quite good at that screen size, helping for a superior frame rate. Also using it for dual monitor while traveling for work. Also will sometimes need to be manually set to 144hz in windows and Steam OS. Really like that product and would recommend it for avid work/game travellers.

El monitor llego en buenas condiciones, tuvo un pequeño golpe que atravesó la caja afortunadamente no daño el equipo, el monitor estaba planeado llegar una semana después de que lo compre pero se adelanto la entrega dos días después de la compra. -si ofrece los 144 hz que promete -la imagen se ve bastante bien al igual que cuenta con un buen brillo -para geiming es bastante funcional ya sea como monitor secundario o incluso como uno principal -la caja contiene un estand, un cable de HDMI a mini HDMI y un cable de Tipo c Lo malo podría ser que no cuenta con una fuente que lo energice aunque se puede solucionar conectandolo con un cargador de teléfono o los aparatos como laptop, switch y teléfono le pueden brindar la suficientemente energía para encenderlo obvio esto consume la batería de los dispositivos y los altavoces que cumplen siempre y cuando estés en un ambiente sin muchas interacciones, ya que se escuchan bastante bajos
