Is it really Faking it?!?!?
Gary and Travis are both so hot!!! Loved the way Travis help Gary release his true self. Gary kinda did the same for Travis and helped him see thing’s clearer!! They both showed each other how to be who they truly are and ended up falling where they didn’t expect too!!! Loved the way Travis helped Gary release his wild side in the bedroom, it was definitely steamy!!!! Love these two!!

B+ rating...
My Review:Overall: 3.75Performance: 4.0Story: 3.5There were things I really liked about this story/series and some that I really didn't. I loved both the guys and how seemingly different they were from one another...but they work. But as they get to know one another, they begin to realize they have more in common than they ever would have thought when they started this fake relationship.Travis is one of those guys...he's simply a nice guy who likes to have a good time. He's completely unapologetic about it. He sleeps with a lot of guys, but hey...he's single and upfront with them about what he wants. So when he sees Gary's ex giving Gary a hard time, Travis steps in to put him in his place and things spiral from there.I loved that aspect of the story and how the relationship grew between the two guys. Despite their chemistry, they truly become friends first and I loved that. I also really loved how Travis handled Gary. Gary doesn't have the most self-confidence in the world...which Travis does not understand. So, he's constantly making sure that Gary realizes his worth. Gary blossoms under that appreciation an it was awesome to watch his confidence grow. Both guys have issues with their sexuality and what it means in their families. Although their circumstances aren't the same, they are close enough that the two guys connect over the similarities. The only thing about the story that I really didn't like was the whole Metropolis setting. It had a whole swinging 70's/Studio 54 vibe to it that I kind of hated. It felt like something you would find in a telenovela soap opera...so over the top with the gay drama of where they live...which sucks because that's the setting/premise for the entire series. But thankfully, the authors have written strong enough characters to overcome my distaste for the Metropolis...because I did really enjoy this book and look forward to listening to the next one, too which I've already bought.

Amazing book! Travis and Gary won my heart from the very beginning. They both needed each other. They brought out the best and maybe the worst in each other. Both have painful pasts that make them do stupid things. But they get their HEA. And it's well deserved. Also, Superass is seriously the best nickname EVER!!

I'm Going to Fake This Review
OK, I liked this one in spots. Gary was a very sympathetic character although he was a jerk most of the time for seeking a relationship with his fake boyfriend Travis but never telling him--or his parents that he was gay. Travis was a bit less sympathetic in how many times he breaks Gary's heart--but just as much of a jerk for failing to deal with his antagonistic parents or for totally denying his feelings for Gary. Most of the rest of the characters from this predominantly gay condominium complex in Atlanta were shallow, though some of them might be explored in subsequent books. Travis' brothers seem to be decent guys but keep running up against Travis' feelings that since they are not full siblings he's considered inferior by them. There is so much angst in so many ways all through this one that I decided I had to run right through it like a hot knife through butter to find how the HEA comes about. Verdict: It's satisfying. Epilogue: Not quite satisfying--so much left out, and hey, put a ring on it!Biggest problem with books like this--and very consistent with Riley Hart's books which I generally like very much--is the cover. I gather that's Travis. Gee, thanks, for letting us imagine what Gary looks like. I know those who read my reviews must feel I am cover-obsessed--and you would be right. My deeply held opinion is if this is going to be a romance, I want to see both men on the cover and not use my imagination. Or, neither of them but a generic scene will do with no one in it. Sometimes it can work to have just one because you really get the gist of the second one in the narrative. But in almost every chapter Travis keeps trying to boost Gary's ego by telling him how gorgeous he is. Well, give us a peek, eh?Bottom line: If this is your kind of book, you will like it. If not, meh. (Oh, BTW, ignore my headline).

Bravo, just the right combination!
Enough angst to give an edge to a sweet story and make it relatable and feeling real. Well written (and proofread, thank heaven). Characters had depth and charm. Good, fun read.

This was a fun read! Ligh-hearted, with a fake-boyfriends trope that led the characters to real emotions and a HEA.

Wow! Wow! Wow!
This is one of those books that sneaks up on you. You're reading along enjoying yourself when all of a sudden - BAM!!!! You realize there is so much more to this book than you thought. You find yourself totally wrapped up in these two characters. The butterflies are fluttering around your insides. Your heart starts to ache and you can't stop reading until these guys are in each other's arms forever. When I picked up this book, I thought it would be a fun read with some pretty hot sex. I expected that Gary and Travis would fall for each other but I never expected them to pull so much feeling out of me. But as they grew closer and their feelings started to develop, I grew more invested in them. That's not to say that there wasn't some really hot sex. Believe me, these guys could have incinerated Metropolis with the heat between them. These are the kinds of books I live for. The ones that pull everything out of me. The ones that make me feel every emotion the characters are feeling. The ones that I don't ever want to put down. I finished this book at 3am and I wanted nothing more than to roll right into Working It. Unfortunately, my body disagreed and made me sleep.

2 Towers, 2 Men & 2 Hearts
The 2nd book from Devon and Riley. This book is so different from, Weight of The World, in a very good way.Two men that couldn't be anymore different meet but they have more in common than they realise.Travis and Gary wake up in bed together and that is the moment that their lives change. Travis is the big and brash out going character and Gary is the quiet shy wallflower that he has made himself to be. Sometimes life throws 2 people together and a situation that could blow up in peoples faces. The exact opposite happens and they find out things about themselves that they didn't realise, the strength to do the right thing.I totally fell in love with both characters, the way they were with each other, the laughter and the sex scenes were scorching hot. If, you love all of Riley Hart's books and Devon McCormack's too. I would tell you to DEFINETLY buy this book you will love it. If I could I would give more than 5* to it.

Angsty and Cute
I really should have hated this....but I actually liked it. It was fluffy, full of sex and full of beautiful muscle-type-people.I think I was in the right frame of mind after reading "Literature".Far too much sex, far too much....BUT....it wasn't that sort of, overly descriptive sex which offends me, this was...reportage sex, I want this, you do this to me, I scream your name....blah, blah, blah....Which was good! I coped. I liked it. It didn't offend. Male writer sex I suspect. The "Lurve" was cute/adorable/sweet. The "Angst" was teary (I cried). The writing was great, the plot was sweet (I cried).I would usually say 3 x stars for this type of story/novel, but it is actually well written, I was in the mood and....did I mention.....(I cried).

Good read with HEA
Gary and Travis's story is fun, starts off cheekily and smoothly progresses into a relationship. Both characters were not looking for a serious hook-up and try to resist each other. Good banter, characters are interesting and great start to a new series.I'd give the book 5 stars, as it leaves wanting more. Luckily there's a book 3.5 to conclude their forever commitment.
