I'm in Virginia and retired. I refuse to drive my 2017 Cr7 Z06 in the rain. It is ceramic coated and this car duster is amazing. Takes a few minutes to dust off pollen in the spring or just dust driving around town and keeps it looking in show room condition!!!

I tried using a microfiber towel for the dish and pollen but that was a horrible idea. I tried this out as soon as I got it and it worked great. All the pollen and dust… gone! Very nice product for sure.

Not a California Duster, but pretty close as far as how well it works. However, I can recmmend this kit for how complete it is. You get a long-handled duster that lets me more easily reach high spots than the California Duster. I would say it gives about 6-8 inches more reach, which doesn't sound like a lot, but going from both sides of your car, you can cover an extra foot of windshield or roof. These are great for windshields of a car in a carport, get the dust and cat footprints off the glass without scratching. When brand new, it can leave a bit of residue, after you open the package and it 'dries out' for a while, it works very well. Next you have a small duster which works great for the dash, under the rear window, or smaller objects. Same duster material, just in a more compact version. Lastly, you get a little detail duster, with little 'fingers' that work very well do get the dust out of the vents in your car. Just orient it so the little 'fingers' go between the louvers of the vent. All in all, I would reccomend them. I think the California Duster works just a little bit better as far as the dust mop material goes, but I prefer the longer handle of this one, as there are times I need just a little more reach.

After owning this a while the strings may get hooked on a windshield wiper or something and unravel come out all over the place.

Having tried other dusters this one is extremely well built and perfect to use for a car. All the other ones be way too easily and this one is super sturdy.
