Cleared me right up! I’ve only used it up to 2x/week, and applied moisturizer right after, and I haven’t noticed any drying problems. Calmed my acne by the 2nd use, and was cleared up after like 2 weeks (4 applications). I didn’t have severe acne, but reoccurring acne on the chin that just wouldn’t fully go away after months, but now it’s gone. Cheap and effective. No complaints.

This Salve 5% Benzoyl Peroxide cream has genuinely been one of the more effective things I've added to my skincare routine and I'm really pleased with how my skin has responded to it. The 5% concentration feels like the sweet spot — strong enough to actually do the job without being so harsh that it wrecks your skin barrier. I was a little cautious starting out because benzoyl peroxide can be drying if you overdo it, but used as a leave-on treatment in the way I've been applying it my skin has handled it really well. A little goes a long way so the 20g tube has lasted much longer than I expected. What I appreciate most is that it gets to work relatively quickly. I started noticing a difference within the first couple of weeks — existing breakouts clearing up faster and new ones appearing less frequently. It doesn't happen overnight but the improvement is consistent and steady which tells me it's actually treating the issue rather than just masking it. The cream texture is smooth and applies easily without feeling heavy or greasy on the skin. It absorbs well and sits comfortably under moisturiser without pilling or feeling uncomfortable throughout the day. For a medicated cream the formulation feels surprisingly pleasant to use. Affordable, effective, and does exactly what it claims. If you've been going around in circles trying different acne treatments this is genuinely worth adding to your routine. I bought this because I had a mega pimple, it was literally the size of my thumb nail. As someone who’s never really had acne or pimples, I was so terrified of this monstrosity. Pimple patches weren’t working on it, but this cream did! Within one night it was noticeably much smaller and a lot less angry looking (less redness). I kept using it for about a week and it virtually disappeared. I keep the rest of the tube on hand in case of an emergency case like this.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We purchased this SALVE Benxop 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide Gel to help with a sebaceous cyst on my standard poodle’s back, and so far it has been a positive experience. One thing I really appreciate is the lower 2.5% strength. It’s strong enough to be effective but still gentle, and it has not irritated his skin at all, which was a big concern for me. His skin has tolerated it very well. We’ve noticed that the cyst has started to shrink, although slowly, which is encouraging. I understand this type of issue can take time, and if it doesn’t fully resolve, we will follow up with our vet. But so far, this has been a good first step. Overall, this is a gentle, easy-to-use product that seems to be helping without causing irritation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
