SAVILAND Builder Nail Gel Nude 3.5 oz for Nail Extensions & Manicure Art

I've used the clear builder gel from this brand for a couple of years now and it's great, but I'm glad I decided to try this one! The light pink color and very subtle opacity are so great as a "your nails, but better" look that works on a wide variety of skin tones. It's harder to work with than the clear builder gel, which is more like honey and easier to use with the gravity technique of apex construction. The light pink builder is more like warm taffy and doesn't spread as easily, but the durability is so worth it. I spend a few extra minutes filing this product for the shape I want before moving on to color polish, but I get a lot more sturdy wear time now. I'm much more likely to redo my nails because I'm ready for a new design, instead of because some wear and damage are starting to appear. I'm also still glad to have the crystal clear builder gel in my tool kit even though it's not my go-to base gel anymore, it's still perfect for encapsulating decals, chunky glitter, or other surface decorations that need protection.

It was my first time using this builder gel and I loved it! I have been doing my nails at home for a long time and the one complaint I had about other gels was that they are very liquidy, for this one that’s not the case. I recommend that you cure with a full lamp rather than the small ones as it is a thicker consistency. I saw many comments that said their nails were still uncured which made me hesitant to buy, but it was not my case at all. I flash cured in between applications with a goose neck lamp then fully cured for 120s and it was perfect. Not too runny, not too stiff, and a little goes a long way so build your nail little by little, don’t bulk the product on.

I’ve been using this builder gel on my clients, and it’s been a hit! It has a great consistency—not too runny and not so thick that it feels like you’re wrestling with it. It self-levels nicely and is easy to shape, which makes my job a whole lot easier. My clients love how strong their nails feel, and the finished sets hold up really well. It cures beautifully, has a nice glossy finish, and gives me plenty of time to perfect the shape before curing. The large jar is another bonus because it lasts a long time, even if you’re doing nails regularly. Let’s just say this gel has earned a permanent spot on my nail table. Love it!!! Works well when I followed the curing details, 122 seconds, thin layers curing between every layer until I formed the nails to the desired thickness. I’m not a professional so I’m basing this off of my trying to get them to look and last like the videos and tutorials I find. So when they were finished and after a few weeks of serious wear and tear, the ones I took my time with and followed instructions on have lasted. The ones I rushed and did in my own way, have not. This I know does not apply to everybody. This product left my nails healthy. The bed of my nail all the way to my cuticle, and my cuticles themselves were not flaky, did not look stressed out from the product, and it looked like I had soaked my nails in oil after the unsuccessful installs popped off. Because of the overall condition and feel, leaves me to believe that it is true about the vitamin enriched qualities of this product. The only parts that were damaged were from the tips where I glued the false nail tips on obviously, any kind of glue will cause damage. I add these details because as I was prepping my nail to do a new install I noticed the drastic difference between the nail that had just gel on it versus the nail that had the tip glued on first then the gel. The just gel to nail was much more healthier than the glue part and it was noticeable. The nails that have been successful so far that I took my time on and made sure the edges were as clean and seamless as possible have had no peeling and no lifting, and I was very pleasantly surprised about that. What I’m getting at is as a nonprofessional amateur novice who enjoys doing my own gel set following professionals advice as well as I can. This product is worth the cost and the time it takes working with it. Recommended for those who are willing to be patient and I highly recommend for professionals, this is a strong gel that literally is crystal clear after application.

If I could give it zero stars I would. First time use no issues but the second time use after I got into the container. It wouldn’t cure and even thought it was my light or something I did but nope. They switched out or only used some gel on top and the rest crap.

Almost too thick to work with. Not what i was expecting. This is one of my favorite brands too.

As someone who has never used builder gel or BIAB, I found this super easy to use and I didn’t get any reaction from it! It is really thick, but it gives me way more time to fix any areas I didn’t like or fine tune things! I’ve already repurchased so I don’t run out!

I love this builder gel! The colour is a gorgeous cool pale pink, and it has the perfect amount of coverage. I have been doing my own gel manicures at home for about 3 years now. I am self taught watching YouTube videos. I have been wearing gel X manicures for about 2 years now. I had been using IBD hard gel, but it was quite expensive for such a small jar of product. I kept buying IBD because it’s a quality brand. I had been seeing this Saviland builder gel on Amazon, and decided to give it a try. I love the colour and the consistency! I find this Saviland hard gel to be slightly thicker than the IBD hard gel, but I don’t have any issue with that. It self levels and I find it easy to work with. To anyone new to DIY gel manicures: builder gel takes practice, and there’s definitely a learning curve! Watch online tutorials and make sure you’re using the correct brushes for application. And for anyone worried about gel allergies: make sure you’re using a decent nail lamp for curing, and when in doubt, cure your nails for longer!!

So I read all the reviews before purchasing this build up gel, as I’ve never tried any build up before. I went with this one even though it had a few negative reviews, but I am completely satisfied. Super easy to use. I wonder if those who said it was too tacky, didn’t use a slip solution? I did use a slip solution (Morovan) and had no problem applying and spreading the gel evenly. I did two thinner layers, opposed to a thick layer, and had no problem curing. I did two rounds of 120s but I’m sure it was fine after one round. You must wipe (with acetone preferably, but not necessary) after each layer is cured. This is how I did it exactly and I have salon results! There is a lot in the jar as well, and you don’t use a ton doing one set. Totally worth the price. Might be worth stocking up on this one.

I had to come back the following day after I received the gel nail polish kit from "Supwee" ..this I highly recommend as for the Las year I am not 100% sure but I started to get problems with allergies only my fingers and hands immediately upon touching the gel. And to be honest you can see that I am wearing a bandage on my index finger and this is because I had gel nails on and my skin blistered incredibly good very painful. But Last night I took them off and cleaned up everything using brand new equipment and brushes and files so not to contaminated anything. I opened my new "Saviland" nail gel that I purchased through AMAZON Canada 🇨🇦 and I kept the bandage on when I worked on my left hand. I am ecstatically overjoyed to let you know that my fingers healed over night as if the gel did it..OBVIOUSLY it didn't but it seemed to be healing rapidly and I will share with pictures. So pleased to let everyone know that if you have a or any kind of allergic reactions with gels you should try this one it's Magic! My swelling disappeared also the rash seems to have disappeared also when I had it for over a week and it wasn't getting better it was getting worse until I switched gels to Saviland!!! The Saviland nail gel arrived on time and ready to work magic! I had taken my old nails off and couldn't wait to try it. I am very impressed with your nail gel Saviland!! I personally now will always use it. I like the texture the thickness is perfect and it levels beautifully. I didn't have to take so much time shaping my nails filing them and I didn't need to use my electric nail drill only under my nails a little bit to shape them. Again I can't thank you enough for nailing it!!

I was about to return this gel today because it was just terrible to work with and it would never cure no matter how much time under lamp (I had tried up to 7 mins on one layer). I would wipe off the sticky layer and just a sliver of product, probably less than 10% of the builder had actually cured. I decided to buy a stronger lamp and see if it was due to low light levels. My old lamp read 8 watts, my new lamp is 150w. I applied the gel and used the recommended 2 min cure with the new lamp and voila, I only had to wipe away just a thin layer of tacky gel, the nail was solid and strong. Otherwise the product is okay to work with once you get used to the honey-like viscosity, easy to file once cured. If you're worried about the curing I would make sure the lamp you have is fairly strong. I purchased the jodsone sunx5 lamp if that helps. I'm glad I didn't give up on the product because it's a lot of product and I had been meaning to upgrade my lamp anyways.
