Very stylish and high quality for the price. Easy to clean with a damp cloth. The gold rims are a nice touch and make it look much more expensive than it actually is. Can’t comment durability yet as only bought a few weeks ago, but so far so good.

The toaster looks very elegant with its white and gold design. It toasts bread evenly, is simple to use, and works perfectly. Great addition to the kitchen!

This is a nice looking toaster and it does produce really nice toast. The controls are easy to use and there is a clear moulded line on the temperature control so you can easily see where it's set. The two toasting slots are very wide and can accomodate most things you would want to toast ...... BUT ..... and here's the bad bit - whilst the toasting slots are very wide they are NOT long enough to accomodate a standard white sliced loaf slice of the most common brands on sale in the UK. i.e. Warburtons Toastie, supermarket own brands etc. You will need to cut about 1/4" of each slice to get it to fit into the length. I cannot believe that someone at Russell Hobbs didn't take the time or have the forethought to take the most common sliced loaves and try them for size. As it is this is a constant niggle, so we will be buying another toaster with longer slots like our old one that packed up after 5 years, and this one will be relegated to the status of a, "spare". But really this shouldn't have happened and it's ruined the use of the toaster. But if you can up with the aggravation of cutting of a piece of each slice before you put it in the toaster then it's great. It does accept granary slices and some brown bread as they tend to be smaller overall. Up to you, out with the scissors and cut of a section of each white slice or buy another toaster.

DO NOT BUY. I should’ve returned it as soon as I took it out of the box, but I wanted some toast. 1). Too small to fit most normal slices of bread in. 2). Bread always gets stuck in it and doesn’t pop up properly 3). The temperature is impossible to regulate. 4). Bread touches the elements making it burn. Everything about this product is cheap and nasty. I’m taking it to a charity shop as it’s better for a charity to get a fiver than me just throw it in the bin.

As many have said (I should have read the reviews). I purchased the toaster from Amazon AU expecting AUS/NZ plugs, along with the supposedly matching kettle. Both had UK plugs (which can be changed by an electrician without too much fuss). But the most disappointing thing was that the toaster and kettle don't even match! The toaster is an off-white (not a bright white as in the images) and does not match the kettle at all. Go figure! Very annoying.
