I traveled cross country and didn't want to have to stop even morning for an expensive latte. I purchased this and it worked great. Easy to use, clean, and travels great. It heated the milk, the froth was impressive more than I usually like but you can stop it part way through to reduce the amount of foam and make it to your specific taste.

This was the best milk frother I’ve owned until it wasn’t. All of the settings worked amazing and froth the milk as they were supposed to. Easy to clean, nice and compact. But the durability is lacking. I purchased in May 2025 (10 months ago) and it completely died on me today. I use the frother about 5 days a week, hand wash only and keep the electrical components dry. Over the weekend it started running the second you put it on the electrical source, even before I powered it on and chose a setting and would continue to run until I removed it from the power source. The cold milk frothing also stopped working at this point. I went to use it today and despite it saying it was running, the coil wouldn’t spin and the milk didn’t warm. It is fully dead. Unfortunate given the price point and how well it worked for the time I did have it. I would love to order another but don’t want to be in the same situation again in less than a year.

Our household used this frother daily for about three years, and then it broke. It performed it's job consistently well, both for cold (no heat) and hot frothing. The frothed milks and other beverages had a decent quality foam, but it's not the finely textured foam you get for a steaming, but that's to be expected. My only complaint is that this appliance, like most counter top appliances, just isn't built to last. Ultimately, it was a good purchase. At the current price, I paid $0.03 per day for frothing. If it had lasted another year or two...or five. It would have been a 5 star purchase.

After 9 months, it failed to start the frothing. The light I ordered another with the Asurian 4 yr warranty. But Googling, I found that the frother was warranted for two years by SimpleTaste. I called SimpleTaste customer service, explained what was happening. They offered to replace it or refund me. That was excellent news to me. I love this frother and had already ordered another one that has already been shipped. So I accepted their the refund. As for frothing, I didn't see much difference in froth between setting 1 and 2. Regular milk froths with less foam than skim milk and is great for lattes but is too thin for cappuccinos; skim milk produced a thick foam for cappuccinos, too thick for lattes. I prefer skim milk so this works well for my cappuccinos. For lattes, I like to use regular milk. 5/12/26 Update I received the new frother and am pleased to report that the selection 2 for lighter foam works excellently. The foam is just the right consistency for a latte. I will use selection 1 forthe cappuccinos as designed for the thicker foam.

I am in love with this milk frother not only does it make milk foam it makes a little and alot of foam but also it can just warm you milk or Luke we do the half and half ! And it make cold foam for your ice brew!!! It has one side with a spout for easy pouring! It’s so easy to use and you can detach from the base for cleaning or use! It’s great and look nice too! I highly recommend this item!

It was great until it wasn’t… I’d say durability and build are true issues. I bought my first one and it worked great, late 2023. Was so great that when I used it for a guest who loved it, I gave it to her and ordered myself another. First one came. Didn’t work. Sent it back. Second one came, didn’t work. Sent it back. Third one came worked like the first. (Nov. 2024) I care for it, hand wash, protect the electrical, etc. Over the past 10 days it’s been slowly dying. Very sad. If you order and it works, just expect 12-24 months is probably all you will get from it!

The first thing that I like about this kitchen scale is that it’s not expensive. It’s really easy to use and the button are real mechanical button. I have another scale that has tactile button and I hate that. Now I know that with this kitchens scale, every time I press the button, something will happen. The scale is precise and well adjusted. It displays the exact same weight as my other scale (starfrit). You can put up to 11 pounds on the scale which is enough for a kitchen scale. It doesn’t happen often that you need to weight 11 pounds of something for cooking. The top plate is ‘’chrome’’ plated. Humm… it’s actually just shinny plastic there is no metal there. There might be a special paint but nothing more. It’s supposed to prevent bacterial growth but just clean your scale and you should be good. There is one thing that bothers me a bit about this scale and it’s that it’s not instant. It takes maybe 1 sec before it displays the correct weight when you add something. It’s not a big deal but my other kitchen scale is faster than this one. Other than that the scale is really nice and at 20$ I would recommend it!
