Definitely on the more expensive side but does the job good, quality is good and is needed for more professional video quality, speed and compatibility. Good capacity options too.

Had this card for years across several cameras and it’s never let me down. It’s a UHS-II V90 card, and that V90 rating is what lets it record the A7 IV’s highest-quality format, which slower cards can’t handle. 256GB is the sweet spot for storage against price. One quirk worth knowing: hit playback the instant a clip stops recording and it can lock the camera up for a moment while it finishes writing, so give it a second. Otherwise faultless.

Excellent cards

Purchased this for my Sony A6700. I like to film sports and this so far has never let me down. The amount of footage I can record means I'm not having to constantly jump between cards and that's filming in 4k at 50fps slog 10 bit. The overral quality of this product is excellent and I would recommend this to anyone wanting to buy a reliable card that offers great quality and has great speeds.

Using these in my Sony A7R V and th y are great! Very fast and also fast transfer to the laptop too! Great cards!

I tested it with Blackmagic speed test benchmark on a M1 MacBook using the mac's built-in card slot. It's write speed is 10% better than the 1800x version of the card. Interestingly, the read speed is slower. Using the MacBook I couldn't confirm the claimed 300MB/s read and 270 MB/s write values. I did more research using an EOS R7 camera. I put it on MF, Elec. 1st curtain shutter, H drive mode, RAW + L jpeg pic. quality. I was able to obtain 94 shots before the camera stopped completely to clear its buffer With the 1800x card version my best result was 72 shots. It's too early to speak about the card's quality and reliability, yet.

Funciona perfectamente con mis cámaras sony (ZVE1 y a7V) grabando en XAVC S-I y en absolutamente todos los formatos y resoluciones que he probado. La uso desde hace más de un año y medio, tengo otras tarjetas SD V90 de la marca Kingston pero cuando grabo con la máxima calidad a veces me salta un fallo diciéndome que tengo que poner una tarjeta de una velocidad adecuada, se soluciona simplemente extrayendo y volviendo a insertar la tarjeta pero es una molestia y puede ser un contratiempo importante en un entorno profesional. Tengo un compañero con una sandisk extreme pro nueva que supuestamente tiene mayor velocidad de escritura y a veces también le salta ese mensaje. Estuve investigando y parece que las cámaras sony son muy exigentes en cuanto a la velocidad sostenida de escritura que detectan en la tarjeta de memoria y algunas marcas son muy optimistas anunciando una velocidad de escritura alta porque es algo a lo que puede llegar esa tarjeta en condiciones ideales y en momentos picos pero quizá no sostenido en el tiempo. No sé si será cierto o no pero en mi experiencia tengo que decir que con esta tarjeta no me ha pasado nunca. Cuando grabo algún evento importante la utilizo junto con una CF Express tipo A de Lexar de 320gb (por cierto más baratas que las SD v90 actualmente en 2026) grabando redundante con la a7V y no he tenido ningún problema, aunque hay quien dice que con las CF se calienta más la cámara y que es mejor para evitar posibles fallos que si grabas redundante sea con tarjetas exactamente iguales, de la misma capacidad y marca. Diría que, actualmente, es la marca que más recomiendo para tarjetas SD de mejor calidad/precio, hace años hubiese dicho sandisk.
