Not real Gond Katira
This is not real Gond Katira. This has a sour vinegar like smell. Real Gond Katira should have zero smell. Really sucks that I wasted money and can’t return. A lot of the pieces also look dirty.

What I expected
Not sure what more to say. It gets nice and thick when you put it in water and does the things i expected it to do. A little food a long way so I expect the bag to last a while but will certainly buy this again once I've depleted my stock

This is incredible. By far the best quality gond katira I've used. Add them to smoothies or shakes. Tastes good. Very light. You won't even feel you added it to something.

One of the best solution for constipation
Just put 7-8 pieces of the gond in water overnight and next day onwards start adding a spoonful to any item like dal, tea, dahi etc. Don't cook it. It leads to complete evacuation of stomach. Please note that it's not like churans or other digestives which digest the food and cause rumbling/gud gud sound in stomach. This only cleans the stomach without any gud gud. Highly recommended especially for people with fiber shortage or dont have access to fresh fruits.
