Great Quality but Too Noisy
I had already seen this in a store but decided to buy on Amazon as I was getting a better price here. The quality felt great, the finish is nice, and the kettle has a good weight to it. Feels solid. However I decided to return the kettle as I have an open plan kitchen and it was just too noisy for those sitting in the joint living room. I don't recommend this kettle if you are concerned about high noise levels, otherwise if that doesn't bother you it's an excellent option.

The lid does not open or close properly
The kettle arrived with a defect. The lid does not open or close properly and does not work at all.

Good kettle, fast enough, dodgy lid design.
I like a lot about this kettle. I mean, it's a kettle! And it does exactly what it is supposed to do. No bells or whistles - temperature gauges or keep warm buttons! But if you don't need all that stuff, this is good. Other reviewers have said that that the push button to open the lid is great, but it does sort of only open half way, which seems like a bit of a design fault. So knocking a star off for that! But it boils pretty fast, isn't crazy loud, and looks smart. On the 'looks', like all stainless steel stuff, you do have to keep it clean as marks show up pretty easily, but that doesn't bother me much. It doesn't seem to drip or anything when pouring, which my old one did, so works well in that regard too.

Water level.
It is hard to see how much water is in it. Although there is level indicator at the side, you have to lift the lid to see the level.
