Splash About Baby Silver Lining Swim Nappy Wrap 6-24 Months

Perfect instead of spending money on disposable swim nappies I used for my 11month old, good size for her.

I bought this swimming nappy to go with the splash away happy nappy for my 9 months old baby as a more ecofriendly alternative to disposable swimming nappies, as well as more economical on the long run. Pros: wide age range for this size and still fits fine inside the happy nappy and adjust perfectly to my baby's tummy and legs without hurting her. Still has room to grow. My baby looks comfortable using it. Cons: none really. Maybe not very estetically pleasing if wore on its own (for instance in the paddling pool) *fortunately my baby hasn't pooped yet while wearing it so I can't comment how effective it is in that aspect. Overall, if you are going to be using swimming nappies in several occasions this is a great option both for the environment and your pocket.

If you buy a happy nappy you generally need to also put a swim nappy underneath unless it is the duo. This inner nappy along with a liner makes your second nappy to comply with most swim schools double nappy policy. Overall, compared to the nappy wrap this is a little trickier to get on and off especially once it’s wet and when you’re putting the liner in it can feel a bit faffy. Size-wise it also comes up large I would say so beware of that. But it does what it is needed for and the material is of good quality and has lasted us well so far!

Comes in a plastic bag with a card. Grey in colour with a simple look but still comfortable keeping it leak proof. Upf 50+ rating. It feels really soft and silky to touch. Feels well made and of good quality. No loose threads or any stitching out of place. It has a special silver layer to help kill harmful bacteria, virus and pathogens that chlorine alone cannot kill if the nappy gets soiled, ensuring babies and other swimmers are protected against germs that cause infection. Its aimed to be a bottom layer, wearing it underneath the happy nappy or splash jammer swim nappies, so you don't just go swimming in it as it is. The cuffs around the legs aren't too tight and have a good stretch to them. Flexible and doesnt constrict movement. Theres notmuch care instructions to it- just hand wash. Size l/xl which is 6-24 months, waist 24cm, thigh 11-17cm and length 20cm. It is good quality, but not to be confused with a standard swim nappy, this is for underneath.

We used this from 10-15min the old. Eventually moved to just the swim nappy.
