I never knew these existed, so when I spotted it I had to get one to try! I have very limited space, so I don't have room for a normal clothes airer and I don't want to always use the tumble dryer because it's too expensive! Its not very wide, so I'm not sure it will fit my clothes, but it's definitely coming in handy for my kids school uniform which I'm constantly Washing! The price is reasonable, it's sturdy and good quality and very lightweight, I currently have it hanging on my back door. It was easy to install and doesn't bend at all. I'm very pleased with it.

Bought as gifts for others who have very little space for on floor clothes airer. What a fantastic purchase and hung on doors perfect. It does great for lighter garments, but it’s the space saver that’s the aim and it meets that. Easy to assemble too.

I really like this over-door airer, it takes up less space than standard ones, although that does mean there is less drying space. However, I only use it to dry small items (children’s clothes and underwear) that wouldn’t fit on my other airer, so it works perfectly for me! The one downside is that it’s very light which makes it wobbly. If you accidentally knock it, it moves and can bash against the door. This is my reason for removing 1 star.

I live in a very small bungalow, and all my other airers take up valuable floor space. Then I saw this. It's been ideal to save space. It took a full load of washing, which included a heavy hoodie and a pair of trousers. I hung mine on my bedroom door to start with, but there wasn't quite enough room for me to get by without catching the dryer. I moved it to my hall/sitting room door, and it fit perfectly there. Just be careful hanging it the right way round, I didn't at the beginning, so it was sitting wrong and putting excess stress on the joints. An easy fix by simply turning over the airer. There are no special tools required, no damage to doors or walls, and the metal hooks are wide enough for most doors... they're a bit loose on my narrow doors, but I already have similar hooks that are slimmer, so I might swap them out if there is too much movement over time. For the price I paid I feel it's fairly good value for money. There are obviously weight concerns with it being a hanging airer, so the bars are narrower compared to my floor airers, but I don't see that being a problem. After all, I'm not planning on swinging from the airer. But be aware it's probably not going to be quite as sturdy as other airers. That's the compromise, space saving against weight. It's early days yet, but so far it's a compromise I'm perfectly happy with.

The item itself is good and the bars themselves are sturdy, and it folds away very easily - probably great for something like camping or use in an out of the way area. However, I wanted it for over a busy bathroom door, and - because it effectively "hangs" on 2 lanyards (as opposed to on something more stable) - it swings/moves/scrapes every time the door is opened/closed. It is also fairly deep (depth from the door when hanging, and this dimension is not given in the description) at 22 cm, so it also made the doorway rather narrow.

Glad I bought this. It is a great little clothes rail that fits nicely behind a door. You can fit quite a lot on it too! Great when space is at a premium.

I have 2 of these now and the clothes dry quickly. Large capacity and perfect for what we need. Easy to fold away when not in use but we have a busy family and the washing machine is non stop so it’s always in use. Like the design of this and it’s really sturdy! Great for anyone who needs a bit more drying space. You can also hook them over the radiator for quicker drying! Very handy and I will probably take this on holiday with us too because it doesn’t take up much room especially when folded.
