Love this stuff!
I recently purchased the Harris Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth 10lb bag, and I can confidently say itโs one of the best investments Iโve made for my home, garden, and pets. This product is a versatile, all-natural powerhouse that delivers exceptional results across multiple applications, making it a must-have for anyone seeking chemical-free solutions. First and foremost, the quality of this diatomaceous earth is outstanding. Sourced from freshwater deposits in Nevada and packaged in Georgia, itโs 100% pure with no additives or fillers, earning it certification from the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) for organic use. This purity gave me peace of mind when using it around my family and pets. The 10lb size is perfect for tackling larger projects, whether itโs pest control, garden care, or even health-related uses, and itโs a great value for the price. The included powder duster is a fantastic addition, making application a breeze, especially in hard-to-reach areas like baseboards, garden beds, or pet bedding. I used it to combat a persistent ant problem in my kitchen and was amazed at how quickly it worked. Within days, the ants were gone, thanks to the DEโs ability to dehydrate insects by cutting through their exoskeletons. I also sprinkled it around my vegetable garden to protect my plants from crawling pests, and the results were equally impressiveโno harmful chemicals needed, which is a huge plus for my organic gardening efforts. Beyond pest control, Iโve used this DE for other purposes, like adding it to my petsโ food as a natural dewormer (after consulting my vet) and even as a gentle exfoliant in homemade cleaning products. The fine, white powder is easy to work with, though I recommend wearing a mask during application to avoid inhaling the dust, as itโs quite fine. The resealable bag is convenient for storage, keeping the product fresh and mess-free, though I did transfer some to a smaller container for easier handling.

Best natural product for terminating insects and rodents.
Best product ever for killing pest without having to worry about poisoning your garden with harmful chemicals. Although the product is safe and organic, due to it being a fine dust you should maybe consider wearing a mask when handling this product.

GETS RID OF BAD BUGS IN YOUR GARDEN
Food grade diatomaceous earth works very well to get rid of bad garden bugs, like pincer bugs. But be very careful to only dust the base and stalk of the plant and on the fruit itself, like squash. Do not dust the flowering portion of your plants, or it could kill pollinators. As in all things, just be careful. You can put a baggie over your flowers when dusting. This is a natural pest control that works well, and must be reapplied about once a week when it gets washed off from watering. Another VERY important use of this product, food grade diatomaceous earth, is to mix in with your flour, cornmeal, wheat, etc. It is all natural, tasteless, and kills any bugs that dare try to get into your dry goods! It works by cutting the outer shell of the insect, so that it dies. We're talking microscopic type bugs, and larger, that can easily take up residence in your dry goods. I have used food grade diatomaceous earth in my dry goods for years. Just add a spoonful per small box or bag of rice, cornmeal, etc. Use more for larger containers. I ordered a diatomaceous earth "duster" from Amazon to make it easier to dust my plants. DE is also safe for use on pets for fleas! Start at their head, and work the DE earth down to the skin, being careful not to let your pet inhale the powder (as with any 'powder'). I prefer using DE for pets, rather than the harsh chemicals of flea powder.. I highly recommend this brand of Diatomaceous Earth, as it's reasonable in price, very clean, and does the job! And it's food grade!

This food grade diatomaceous earth is great stuff!
This is my food grade diatomaceous earth review. When I received my food grade diatomaceous earth purchase in it's Amazon package I immediately opened it up and I saw a big green and white ten pound bag. It was packaged well and I didn't see any damage to the box or the bag. Upon opening the ten pound bag I had to pull a string across the top of the bag to open it. The contents were as white as snow and as fine as confectioners sugar. I purchased the food grade diatomaceous earth to use on my garden. I have been having trouble with tomato cut worms. I had been originally using sevin dust but I was worried about my pets and animals getting sick because of the sevin dust so I thought I would try the food grade diatomaceous earth and see if did as good a job as the sevin dust. I started dusting my garden early in the morning before the sun could dry up the dew. This helps the food grade diatomaceous earth to stick to the under side of the leaves. The food grade diatomaceous earth will lay upon the top of the leaves if you dust at any time of the day, but you will have trouble trying to get the food grade diatomaceous earth to stick to the under side of the leaves once they are dry. I was reading the food grade diatomaceous earth reviews on Amazon and I didn't realize that someone could do so much with this stuff. I started putting a teaspoon of food grade diatomaceous earth in my cat's water and a teaspoon of food grade diatomaceous earth in my dogs water to combat any parasites they may have. I even put some food grade diatomaceous earth in my bird baths to see if it would stop mosquitoes from laying their eggs in them. I have been having trouble with spiders and other pests taking up residence in many of my storage buildings. I am sprinkling food grade diatomaceous earth all over the floors of each storage building trying to eradicate all of those pesky insects. While I was reading the reviews I noticed that a lot of people were using food grade diatomaceous earth to cleanse themselves of parasites. I figured if it doesn't harm them maybe I should give it a try myself. So I started taking one tablespoon of food grade diatomaceous earth every morning on an empty stomach. I've been taking the food grade diatomaceous earth for about three weeks and I think that I'm starting to feel a little better. I'm not as hungery as I was and I think I'm losing some weight because I've had to go down a notch on my belt to keep my pants up. It does seem that my finger nails are getting stronger and they are growing longer and faster than before. I have also noticed that my thinning hair is starting to grow new hair where there was none growing before I started taking food grade diatomaceous earth. The company that made my food grade diatomaceous earth is diatomaceousearth.com and they say that they get their food grade diatomaceous earth from fresh water sources. They are located in Idaho. The bag of food grade diatomaceous earth that I bought has some things that everyone should know before taking food grade diatomaceous earth internally. Your health matters. That's why our food grade diatomaceous earth is mined from one of the purest deposits in the United States of America and brought to our state of the art facility then repackaged following all Federal Department of Agriculture regulations and sealed in our environmentally friendly packaging. Experience the uncompromised quality of food grade diatomaceous earth from diatomaceousearth.com INGREDIENTS: food grade diatomaceous earth.............100% A Natural Product Composed of Ground Diatomaceous Earth - Amorphous Silica (Freshwater Type) In my opinion this food grade diatomaceous earth is an incredible value at a great price! You should buy this product if you are having an insect problem of any kind. Thank you for reading my review. I hope I have helped you in some way!
