Wallbox Pulsar Max Electric Vehicle Charger (7.4kW, Type 2, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, OCPP, Indoor/Outdoor, Earthing Protection, 5 Meter Cable, Easy-to-Install Design) White

This charger was straightforward for my electrician to install. It is a nice size, and obviously charges the car. However, 5m may seem like enough, I would have preferred the 7m. But it's almost £200 more - it works out at around £100 per meter of cable with a charger thrown in. Lastly, the WiFi range is terrible - the app informs you that it can see the network with adequate coverage, however it just does not connect to it. This means I am only able to use the bluetooth functionality (which, as it turns out, you need to use in order to set most functions on the device).

2nd one I have had both broke. Terrible!!!

Do not touch this product, very expensive to have installed properly then it doesn't work. None of those things are the end of the world however try contacting them for help. its easier to fly to the moon!!!

I bought my charger two months ago, as it was recommended as the best charger for my car. It worked perfectly for about 6 weeks and then for no reason, a red warning light appeared, and an error code 109 when I tried to connect. I have since found online that the 109 error is a common fault with the Wallbox product duty to a faulty connector. Wallbox will eventually send you a replacement, which you must have replaced by a qualified electrician. I’m very disappointed. Trying to contact customer service is a joke, they are unresponsive. A facebook forum, answered all my questions. Fortunately after being away for three days, the fault disappeared. I’m just concerned it will reappear, randomly and I’ll need to charge my car expensively again. This product is not reliable if it happens again I will return it. And demand my money back. Six weeks functioning for a £500 product, with no customer support is not an honest or sustainable business model.
