Strong build quality. The clip required very little force. I can fit it 2kg of flour easily.

Reorganising my larder cupboard, I decided to invest in 3 litre square kilner jars to replace some very old dying plastic containers, for items I use a lot of, like flour, granulated sugar, caster sugar etc ( no awards for guessing, I love to bake) . I love them, so subsequently purchased more! Stating the obvious they are heavy, but airtight. The square shape is in my opinion the best use of space in my cupboard. I love the fact you can purchase replacement seals for them, just don't drop them! I have different sizes for different items, brown sugars, happily fit in my 2 litre size. Again they are heavy, so I need to store them on the bottom shelf of my larder corner cupboard If I was older I may possibly struggle with them so low down, but fortunately not a concern yet!!

Kilner jars certainly live up to their name and reputation. These arrived well packaged and with no issues. It’s good to have a set for storage and perhaps to use for preserving. They are excellent for keeping food fresh and the seals work well. They should last a long time and look great in the cupboard.

I am a Kilner fan, in fact I think I have a bit of an obsession if I'm honest. However, these little jars just rocked my world. I've tried many spice jars from the orginal containers to Ikea jars to wooden ones and every time for some reason they just do not float my spicy boat. However, these little gems have turned out amazing. I bought spice labels to go with them and now have a very pretty (and large) spice rack that is completely air tight, easy to store and easy to use. I've just ordered another box and I'm contemplating also using these for my cupcake sprinkles. They can also be used as mini preserve jars which are handy for little christmas gifts (just ask my work buddies who received a load of homemade jams and cranberry sauce as stocking fillers). Long live Kilner!

Die kleinen Gläschen sind sehr schön und süß. Ich benutze sie für meine Gewürze. Sie sind spülmaschinenrobust, dicht und stabil. Man muss nur beim Öffnen aufpassen! Wenn man sie nicht vorsichtig öffnet, dann fliegt alles raus. Aber ansonsten top!
