Brother ADS-3300W Wireless, High-Speed Desktop Scanner | 2.8-inch Touchscreen | Scans Up to 40ppm1

Before trying the Brother ADS-3300W, I had ordered a Ricoh (formerly Fujitsu) ScanSnap iX 1600 and then an Epson Workforce ES-580W. The software drivers and utilities for both the Ricoh and Epson machines would not unpack and install properly on my brand new PC running a fresh install of Windows 11 Pro, and in each case the support staff for the manufacturers could not offer a solution. Gnashed my teeth that neither product would set up properly on the current version of the Windows OS. So after many hours of frustration, both were returned, and I crossed my fingers and ordered the Brother. I am so glad that I did. The Brother software installed with no issues at all, and I was able to connect the scanner within minutes. It has all the speed I could ever want, and the feature set is amazing. Be sure to download AND view the 250+ page manual for this machine to learn all the tips and tricks. I find the interface in the Brother software to be very logical and user friendly. Delighted to have TWAIN and OCR capability, and the ability to connect the scanner in so many different network and direct methods. I have a Brother color laser printer that has given me nearly 20 years of trouble free daily duty, I should have known all along that Brother would be my best option for a duplex document scanner. Save yourself the pain that I endured before buying the ADS-3300W, and just order this great product. HIGHLY recommended!

The scanner works very well with my Windows 11 desktop computer. It uses its own iPrint & Scan software, and is compact, fast, and quiet. Setup was easy, but I haven't quite figured out how to save commonly-used configurations so button pressing can be minimized. The only other con is that it takes a long pause while connecting to the program when it starts a new job. I am very pleased with it. I have a multi-use printer/copier/scanner/fax, but I enjoy having a dedicated scanner.

The hardware works pretty well. It's quick and clear. I don't care for the software though. The software isn't intuitive enough for my incompetency. It works better for me with a 3rd party software.

I purchased this bad boy the second I got the email from brother announcing it's release. It's pricey, but undoubtedly worth it. Do it right, so you won't have to do it twice. With a raw JPEG file dimensions for a simple 8.5 x 11 sheet of printer paper coming out to a whopping 5030 x 6550, this is the best thing you could've ever dreamed of for preserving childhood memories or filing documents. Those photos of your kids on the playground or that vacation to Paris back in 1970 are more clear that you ever thought they could be - it's seriously mind blowing. I have a secure NAS Server at my house, and this machine was able to be programmed to connect directly to it live over WiFi, so there's nothing other than the power cable hooked up to it in my office. Everything from the physical build quality to the output scans are absolutely stunning. I'm always doubtful of plastic parts when it comes to electronics, but the paper trays are smooth as butter. The width of the guide rails on the input paper tray up top is adjustable from 2" up to 8.75", and the output tray down below extends far beyond anything I'll ever feed through it. - FOR REFERENCE USE ONLY - NAS CONNECTION SETTINGS: - Network Folder Path: (Example): \\192.168.1.2\FamilyServer\Documents\Scans - USERNAME (Example): Lucas - PASSWORD (Example): 1234

UPDATE: I wish I had never bought it. Brother, you blew it this time. This thing consistently jams, grabs up to 6 pages at a time, and now that I upgraded to Win11, I can only scan into one application. I wish I had returned the thing, but I love love love Brother and kept thinking it would resolve itself. Constantly stops for errors. I love Brother products. I buy Brother because they are easy to set up, reliable, and never break. But this scanner flatly does not work reliably. I spend more time re-scanning documents than it saves. Over and over again. Sometimes once. Sometimes twice. More often, six or eight times or more until I have finally wasted more time than my old scanner that scans 6 ppm front and back could have already done the job. Sometimes it will even appears that it has scanned the document, I staple it and stamp the doc as SCANNED, only to look at the monitor and see a message "Problem scanning. Something went wrong. Please try again." I'm sorry, but Brother, this one does not come close to my expectations.

This is perfect! It does not take up too much space in my small work area. I use it to scan documents into patient records and the quality of the images is excellent. I have not run into any tech issues as of yet which is unheard of for me. WOULD 100% BUY AGAIN & RECOMMEND.

I've had one at this job and the last job. I scan everything in for absolute transparency in a public non-profit. I did much more scanning of large files at the last job and had to replace the rollers after 6 months. Small price to pay for the front and back scanning. Sometimes have difficulty with thinner paper like paper used in duplicates, but easily fixed and usually just when picking it up to feed. It's very reliable and get automatic updates, so always available. Easy to troubleshoot if it doesn't scan. Good for scanning receipts and docs of all kinds. Love that I can save directly to my computer files where I need them and can drag/drop those files to Quickbooks. Saves as a PDF and perfect for saving digitally. Makes my job so much easier and transparency is a must.

After purchasing a Canon Scanner and had a terrible time with it. I did send it back. I then purchased the Brother Scanner and found it easy to set up use. It does an excellent job at scanning documents. My previous Brother Scanner died after around ten years of use and hopefully this scanner will last long too.

compre este escaner en octubre del año pasado, al princio estaba funcionando super bien pero en solo 3 meses se descompuso, solo puede escanear hoja por hoja, se me hace mucho el gasto para que solo funcionara correctamente 3 meses y lo peor del asunto es que no he podido encontrar repuestos de rodillos para este tipo de escaner, se compenso un poco el gasto porque hable a amazon y me regresaron la mitad del dinero x la compra
