I like Lume. It took me awhile to getting around to trying it as I had actually been using a different but similarly effective product for awhile by Boscia. I find that with these products, a little goes a long way. Whether from a tube, or from an applicator, the product is creamy. It spreads well, and rubs in nicely. No need to leave it caked, be sure to massage in until it pretty much disappears. With the applicator, when using anywhere than the armpits, add some to finger tips then spread over body parts. I get a funky smell in the leg area when I have been sweaty. I was taking multiple "bird baths" through the day to freshen up, but it never really made a difference. Using a product such as Lume will knock that out. I massage some into leg pits (where legs meet crotch area), around my belly button, butt area, and any spot that I think could benefit from this stuff. I dont use it on my arm pits as I have plenty of deodorant already for that. But it could be used for that. Basically what this is doing is not masking, blocking out odor, but it has components that help eat bacteria causing odor. This is why it is possible that is can be effective for a few days at a time, even with showering. Now, the time frame of how long it works will depend on your body chemistry, your environment, and even what you wear. My clothing isnt all that breathable so that has much to do with the funk smell. Pools of sweat in hot body regions. Yuck. I use Lume (or Boscia), and I am not stinking. I can swipe my finger along my inner leg crease, and my finger just smells like citrus. I'll use this daily for rest of summer, then likely just a couple few times a week going into cool temps. Or maybe I will just use it daily. Little goes a long way, its effective, smells good. No issues. I'll buy this again. Attention ladies suffering from changes in your usual smell thanks to perimenopausal and menopausal hormone changes!! Because the chin hair wasn’t bad enough! The story goes like this…..I’m getting in bed and I’m moving the sheets around etc getting comfy and I smell this smell…like the Lumie lady says lol! Anyway I look at my husband whom I totally know is the culprit and ask if he forgot his deodorant to which he replies, “NO”. Hmmmm could it be me?? No way but I take a sniff anyway and to my surprise, IT WAS MY PITS!!! Horrified! I had never had that smell before. Thanks Mother Nature! This went on every night for a week or two. The deodorant I had used literally my whole adult life was failing my hormonally imbalanced armpits! A search for a new deodorant began. Not only did I need to eliminate that smell, I also wanted to kick the aluminum can out of my deodorant, so I went on a search for something different. I tried Schmidt’s with Charcoal and nope, still stinky, albeit less but still stinky. Then I decided to try Lumie after seeing the “smell that smell” lady over and over on social media. Let me tell you, it worked immediately and for the full 72 hours like she claims! No more Mother Nature smelly pits for me!! I love it! I have been using it for over a month now with no mind boggling odors emanating from myself! Here are my two warnings about the product. 1) it burns if you put it on right after you’ve shaved your armpits and 2) not everyone’s skin can handle it. I bought it for my hubby too and it burned him, made his skin itch and it eventually peeled. So just beware of those things. Otherwise, I am super pleased and no longer have smelly armpits to try to blame on my innocent hubby!

Ok guys, I see your rashes and 1 star reviews. I too got rashes and the trick was don't put it on right after your shower when your skin is still damp and your pores are still open. You need to be putting this on dry skin. Not to mention rashes are caused by over use of the product. You have too much on sitting in the dark sweaty area of your body yes you are gonna get a rash... MAKE SURE YOUR BODY IS DRY AND RUB THAT STUFF IN LIKE LOTION WITH YOUR HANDS IT WILL HELP PREVENT THE RASH. NOW, on to my review. I buy this for my husband's sour stank feet. They smell like bad sourdough bread. It's disgusting. My hubbs is in the Navy and wears black leather boots all day. It also doesn't help that we live in a tropical hot climate. I was so sick of smelling his feet across the room THROUGH his boots that I got him his own lume! Silver spruce smells kinda funny but I didn't wanna mix coconut or vanilla with his stink 😆 Anyway he came home and was all kinds of excited and said " BABE, SMELL MY FEET! ILL BET YOU CANT!" 🤪 I was hesitant but I did and while they still stunk from his stinky boots, but his feet themselves were very minimal in stank. Honestly it's a win for my nose and anything his stank feet touches cause whatever they touch when stanky I gotta wash 😆
