The RMTL Outdoor Garden Tap with Hose Union and Compression Wallplate Elbow is exactly what I needed for a clean, professional-looking outdoor water supply. The quality of the components is excellent—everything feels sturdy and well-made, especially the brass bib tap and the copper tube section. Installation was straightforward, even for a DIYer like myself. The compression fittings sealed tightly to standard 15mm copper pipe, and the elbow and wallplate provided a secure mount through the wall. The kit includes everything needed for a neat setup, and the hose union fits snugly with standard garden hose connectors. Water flow is strong with no leaks, and it looks great once installed. Please excuse the colourful pieces on item my sons love a water balloon and again find this so easy to attached them too

Great outdoor tap. I had to find a replacement as the old one was leaking all over. This was a perfect choice as it looked like the one I had, the measurements are all the same. It took me less than 10 min to actually replace it myself. It took me a lot longer to actually find the right tool for the job than replacing the tap. Well, that's what amateur DIYer I am, I used a tool as in the picture, got a PTFTE plumbers tape from my tool box and scissors. Disconnected the water supply to the tap. You always need to be careful you lock main water supply properly when replacing any tap otherwise you can cause flooding to your property. The old tap was very firmly stuck on. I had to use all my force to get it moving. Once done though, it was really easy to remove. I ghad to also firmly reconnect the screes that are in the wall as they were a bit lose. Wiped the tap and was ready to get the new one on. I used quite a generous amount of the PTFTE plumbers tape, I went round the end of the new tap a few times, 10 times or more. Then I started connecting the tap to the end piece on the wall as much as I could by hand. For The last time I had to use the tool shown, and it was done. As you can see in the photos it is not leaking. It's firmly in. Good for another few years. Don't be fooled it's connecting upside down as some reviews are saying, you need to use tools not bare hands to make sure its properly and firmly on. I'm happy with the purchase.

Better than I expected! All brass construction (my plastic hose fitting in the photo - it comes with the old fashioned brass hose fitting) even the screw for the handle is brass so won’t rust. The casting has the BS number and WRAS suggesting it’s an approved design. Easy to fit with some PTFE tape and a small adjustable spanner to nip it up secure (and vertical) and it turns off easily with no drips!

Good quality tap for price, it’s solid and fits well!

I have a checkered history when it comes to DIY plumbing but installing this replacement outside tap was simple with no disasters. The tap functions perfectly with no leaks and is very smooth to turn on and off. I wrapped 15 turns of PTFE tape around the threads then carefully removed tape from the first thread to make it simple to start winding the tap into its wall mounting. Job done! Highly recommended and great value for money. The photograph shows the tap with my own garden hose attachment fitted.

Dreadful product, treads were poorly done and un-usable so had to be redone manually, when connected water came out of top of the tap. Trying to connect a hose was near impossible, had to use and old rubber connector as connecting the hose directly to it was pointless because as soon as you increased the pressure the hose detached. Tap was removed and put straight in the bin as I had re-treaded it and couldn’t return it.
