Spotty reception
Used for installing a radio into a spotter truck in truck yard, it looks nice and sleek on the roof, but the reception is pretty spotty. It picks it up well for a bit and then fades out, and it isn't the radio as it works well with a different antenna. Installs easy enough, just have to drill a hole in the roof.

Did not work, same as open plug
To start with there is any curve to your roof it will leak. Had to put on a seal from the old antenna just to get it to seal out water Also the antenna does not sit flysh against the roof even when it is flat. The base was solid against to roof but the antenna housing(the black part) does not go all the way down and sits up about 1/8 inch compared to base. Second even after install did not notice any difference in radio quality or range compared to just the open plug. Installed on a 2011 Nissan Armada.
