When You Wish Upon a Star

The song comes to life in this book! The entire song is beautifully illustrated. The pages are filled with colorfully subdued tones that match the lullaby tone of the accompanying CD. Perfect for listening to yourself and for calming little ones. I use it at naptime with my preschoolers. It's well worth the money!

What a beautiful book just like the Disney song When You Wish Upon a Star from Pinocchio my grandson just loved it

For some reason my son LOVES it when I sing to him with my off key and most likely unappealing singing voice... and I enjoy looking at the vibrant, brilliant art work in the book. I just wish I knew how the whole song went (there's one set of lyrics that I have no clue how to sing. Time to get on youtube!

Unfortunately the version of the cd sold with the book does not match the wording in the story book exactly. As a side note, this book is used in the Let's Play Music sound beginnings curriculum and the Gold Stars Cd purchased with this curriculum has the perfect version that follows the book pages exactly. We love using it at bed time.

Bought this book for my grandson when he was 18 months old. He loved it and it became a nightly favorite. The colors and simple story, really a song, are very appealing. He is now 2 years old and still enjoys this book. Bought a second copy for my other grandchild.

The pictures were really nice but I wasn't that impressed with the writing. I read it to my pre-schoolers and the pictures weren't enough to hold their attention. It is now out at the book center as a free choice book and a never see any of them choosing it to look at.

Magnificent book! All three songs are beautifully performed, illustrations are amazing - great book to instill in your child sense of beauty and develop imagination. My three years old daughter loves this book very much, so am I!

Bought to play a few pieces when I got married to my wonderful wife. She enjoys Disney and I wanted something to play at our wedding. Hard to find piece of music at a reasonable price.
